I Melt for You

Hello everyone and TGIF! :) For my card today, I decided to participate in the MFT (My Favorite Things) Guest Designer Challenge over on Splitcoast. Our challenge was to create something sassy.

For my card, I stamped the lady image from MFT's Hearts Galore stamp set three times, each time onto Georgia Pacific cardstock with Memento black ink. I colored two layers, and then cut out one layer of just the lady's body and adhered it with dimensionals to the base. I then colored just the chocolates from the third layer and popped it onto the base using dimensionals. The images were colored with my copic markers.

Next, I adhered the image onto SU's Basic Black cardstock using dimensionals, then adhered that to SU's Real Red, followed again by Basic Black. I then created my card base (which is A2 size) out of SU's Real Red. I layed on top of that Basic Black, followed by designer paper from Me and My Big Ideas. I used Fiskar's Threading Water Punch on the designer paper and placed pearls where the holes are. I also placed a black ribbon from Michael's across the card and tied a bow. I inked the sentiment(also from the same set) using Versafine black onyx ink and stamped it onto Real Red. I then mounted that onto Basic Black and adhered the sentiment with dimensionals.

For some finishing touches, I added glitter with my Sakura glitter pen to the hearts on the lady's dress and added primas to the top left corner.

I would love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Christine :)
