Happiest of Days
Good evening everyone,
I decided to participate in the card sketch challenge over on Splitcoast today (SC192). I love Wednesdays because I love these sketch challenges :)
For my card today, I stamped Tilda holding lilacs onto Georgia Pacific cardstock, colored her with my copics, and cut her out. I did the same thing with the stone wall, also from Magnolia stamps (if you are interested in purchasing these adorable Magnolia stamps, you can order them by contacting Diana Crick, from Scor-Pal, at magnolia.us@shaw.ca).
Next, I created my card base, which measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2, from SU's Perfect Plum cardstock. I layred on top of that SU's Sage Shadow followed by designer paper from DCWV Nana's Nursery stack (baby boy). I then adhered my stone wall to SU's Sage Shadow with dimensionals and then adhered that to Perfect Plum with dimensionals. I then adhered the whole panel onto the card base with dimensionals. I then adhered Tilda to the wall with dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from Verve Stamps, onto Sage Shadow and mounted it onto Perfect Plum. I used SU's ticket corner punch for the corners. I then adhered the sentiment with dimensionals. For finishing touches, I used Diamond Stickles for Tilda's wings and the heart on her pants. I used a Sakura glitter pen to add some glitter to the lilacs. Finally, I placed Primas and a Martha Stewart pearl onto the top left hand corner of the card.
I hope you enjoy. I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by.
Christine :)
