Cute as a Bug

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :)  Well, I totally misread my calendar and it turns out, my last card was NOT my last post as a guest designer for 7 Kids College Fund for the month of March :)  Today is my last post :)  Boy oh boy, I blame it on baby brain :)  Anyway, today is my last post as a guest designer and I will reiterate, I have had a BLAST working for this company :)  It has truly been an honor and I'll miss working with these incredibly talented ladies :)

My card today is a DT sample for the new challenge over at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.  The challenge this week is "things with wings."  Make sure to pop over to the blog to see all the DT samples and then join in! :)

For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous stamp called Little Lady Bug by Saturated Canary.  I inked the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it onto Copic XPress It cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic Markers.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Dress: YR65, YR68, R81, R83, R85, R89
Shadow around image: W2, W4, blender

My DP is from MME.  I used my SU ticket corner punch on the corners and added pearls.  The swirls are from Memory Box dies.  I added a ribbon and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts to finish it off.    Here's a few other views:

What do you think?  Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by and an extra special thank you to Tab and all the designers over at 7 Kids College Fund for having me this month, I had SO much fun! :)  Have a wonderful day!

Mon Cherie- Stampendous Blog Hop

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday!  Today is my last post as a guest designer for 7 Kids College Fund for the month of March, sniff, sniff :(  I have had so much fun, it has truly been an honor to be part of this team.  Today I am so excited to be part of a super fun Blog Hope for 7 Kids featuring products from Stampendous.  Here is my card:

I am SO in love with Saturated Canary images and love that Tab is carrying them in the store.  This one is called Summer and you can find her HERE.  These images are so incredibly fun to color, especially the hair :)  I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic XPress It Cardstock.  I then colored her with copics.  You can find all your copic needs HERE.  Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Dress: R81, R83, R85, BG10, BG13, BG15, BG18
Grass: G21, G24, G28
Shadow around image: W2, W4, blender
The swirls in the corners of the image were stamped with a Versamark pad and applied directly to the paper.  I then used Stampendous Detail Silver Embossing Powder to emboss the swirls.  I love this effect.  Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock.  My DP is from My Mind's Eye.  The pretty elements in the corners were made using the Filigree Corner Die from La La Land Crafts.  Finally, the sentiment is from the adorable French Flower Cart Clear Stamp Set by Stampendous.  I just love this set and I can't wait to use more images from it.

Here are a couple more photo views of my card:

True Friends

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday :) I have another post for you all today as part of my guest designer duties for 7 Kids College Fund so I'll get right to it :)

For my card today, I got to use my current favorite stamp EVER :) My main hobby other than stamping/paper crafting is reading. I read every single night before bed. Anne of Green Gables was one of my favorite books growing up (in fact, I loved everything Lucy Maud Montgomery ever wrote :)) I also loved everything Kevin Sullivan ever produced/directed (for those of you who don't know, Kevin Sullivan did the movie Anne of Green Gables (and the two sequels) and the Road to Avonlea series (along with other wonderful movies and shows). I was fortunate enough to get to travel to Prince Edward Island, Canada a few years ago and see THE Green Gables, the famous lighthouse shown in the Road to Avonlea shows, and the home where Lucy Maud Montgomery was born. PEI is my second favorite place on Earth (after my beloved Charleston, SC) :) So, of course, for this project, I used this gorgeous new image, Anne of Green Gables, by Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I inked the image up with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it onto Copic XPress It cardstock. I colored the image with copic markers. You can find all your copic marker needs HERE. Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: E11, E13, E15, E18
Blouse and Boots: E41, E42, E43, E45, E47
Dress: G21, G24, G28
Hat and Bottom Suitcase: E31, E33, E35
Top suitcase: W2, W4, W6
Carpet bag: R81, R83, R85, R89
Shadow around image: W2, W4, W6, blender

The perfect sentiment comes with the Anne stamp. The beautiful paper is by Echo Park (the For the Record 2 Collection). The gorgeous swirls are Memory Box dies (I got mine HERE).  I added some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts to finish it off.  What do you think?

Here are a couple other views of my card:

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stoppping by.  Have a lovely day :)

All That Glitters

Hi everyone :)  I hope you are having a wonderful week.  Today is my second post as a Guest Designer for 7 Kids College Fund for the month of March.  Today is a new challenge over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog and its' a challenge near and dear to my heart: GLITTER! :):)  If you know me, you know that there's at least a little bit of glitter on almost every single card I make :)  Without further ado, here's my card for the challenge:

Isn't this image stunning?  The image is by Saturated Canary and her name is Zoe by Saturated Canary.  I stamped the image on Copic XPress It Cardstock and then colored her up with Copic Sketch Markers.  Here are the copic markers that I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, R20; Eyes and Necklace: G20, G97, G99
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Dress: R81, R83, R85, R89, C9, C5, C3
Shoes: R81, R83, R85, R89
Shadow around image: W2, W4, W6, Blender

After using this design paper on my last card, I had to open it again.  This is another image that reminded me of Paris so I used Carta Bella Paris Girl 6x6 Paper.  It's so gorgeous, I'm so glad I got two packs of this paper :)  I also used the La La Land Crafts Eiffel Tower Die, which is absolutely gorgeous and cuts beautifully.  I covered it with Ranger Star Dust Stickles (I also added some Stickles to her dress).  Finally, I added some pearls to finish it off.  What do you think?

Here are some more angles and close up photos:

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day and make sure to stop by the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT has come up with and also enter the challenge yourself.  Hugs!

J'adore

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday :)  Sorry it's been a while since my last post :) My little guy is six months old now and keeping me very busy :)  Life is wonderful :)  I have a fun post for you today.  I am honored to have been chosen to guest design for 7 Kids College Fund for the month of March!  I have literally been shopping there for years so it's a real thrill and honor to have been chose to guest design for the store this month :)  Without further delay, here's my card :)

Okay, so I'm a HUGE Magnolia stamps fan, but this particular image is my absolute favorite! This image is called Tilda and Wiola and I just love it! I of course colored the image with copics. Here are the copics I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E11, E13, E15, E18
Dress: R81, R83, R85, R89
Flowers: E21, E25, E29 (for stems); G20, G24, G28 (for leaves) and R81, R83, R85 for flowers; RV000, R20, R22 (for tissue paper wrapped around flowers)
Dog: E23, E25, E29
Shoes: R81, R83, R85, R89, E21, E25
Shadow around image: W2, W4, W6, Blender pen

You can find all your copic marker needs HERE. Next I created my card. For some reason, this image screams Paris so I just had to use this adorable Paris Girl Paper Pad from Carta Bella. I LOVE this paper pad and have been hoarding it forever so I decided to be brave and cut into it for this project :) Those gorgeous corner scrolls are also from the shop, they were made from the gorgeous Filigree Corner Die from La La Land Crafts.
Here are a few more pics of my card:
