Afternoon Tea

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday!  I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  The new challenge is up over at Color Me Creative.  The challenge this time around is to color any image you wish with fall colors.  Please head over to the challenge and join in.  A lucky winner will win a class from Color Me Creative of your choice!  What a prize!!!!  Here's my card:

For my card today, I decided to ink up this adorable image from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps.  She's called London Charlotte and I just love her!  She was so fun to color.  Here's a list of the copic markers I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Jacket: E21, E23, E25
Reds: R35, R37, R39, R59
Pants: C3, C5, C7, C9
London Skyline: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47
Shadow: W2, W4, W6, Blender

Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock.  My DP is from MME.  I kept the card fairly simple as I wanted the image and DP to stand out so I just added a bow and an embellishment to the center of the bow for a finishing touch.  The sentiment comes with the image.  What do you think? Here are a couple more pictures:

Christmas Wishes

Hi everyone and Happy Friday!  I'm so glad the weekend is almost here, it's been a crazy week :)  It's Friday so that means it's my day to post over at the Inky Impressions Inspiration Blog.  I decided to create a Christmassy card using an adorable image from Inky Impressions.  I know it's only September, but I have so many holiday cards I need to send out every year that I need to start early :)

This adorable image is called Angelica's Sled.  Isn't she adorable?  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
Sled: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47

I also stamped Angelica's Pretty Gifts onto a separate sheet of Copic XPress cardstock, colored them, cut them out, then popped them onto the sled for some dimension. Here are a few more pictures:

My DP is from MME.  The dies were created from Memory Box Dies.  The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  What do you think?

**This card is for sale on my new Etsy Shop

Well, that's it from me today.  As always, thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Make a Wish

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! :)  Sorry I haven't been around in a bit, but this time of year, I always battle sinus issues with allergies and such.  Plus, we've been swamped with family activities and work.  I also have some really exciting news.  I have decided to open up my very own Etsy store where I will be selling many of my homemade creations!  This card as well as several others are already up over at my store.  Here's a link to my store:  Ever After Paper Crafts on Etsy.  It will take me a couple more days to get all my cards up so keep checking back if you are interested.  Also, I will be taking custom orders too so feel free to message me on Etsy if you are interested.

Anyway, the new challenge is up today over at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this go around is anything goes with an optional twist to use alcohol markers on your project.  Here's my card:

How cute is this image?!?!  This image is called Wendy's Birthday Cake by CandiBean (Little Darlings Rubber Stamps).  Isn't she adorable?  She was so much fun to color.  I inked the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamped it onto Copic Xpress Blending Card.  I of course colored her with Copic Markers.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20

Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock.  My DP is from MME.  The sentiment is from Joy's Life stamps.  The die cuts were made using a Memory Box die (Tab will be getting Memory Box Dies in the store soon so check back soon!).  I added a ribbon and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for some finishing touches (I always use Scor Tape to adhere by bows and flowers, it works like a charm every time).  Here are a few more pictures:

For my card today, I just had to color up this gorgeous image from All Dressed Up Stamps.  She's called Amore and I just love her!  She's a digi stamp and she comes in three parts, so you don't have to include the "Amore" part if you didn't want to (sort of like getting three images for the prince of one, very cool! :) ).  Anyway, I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! :)  I hope you are all having a fabulous week.  For my friends in the US, as well as around the world, I'm sure we are all joined together today in remembrance for all the lives lost on this date twelve years ago.  I remember it like it was yesterday, I remember where I was, what I was doing, and what those hours and days were like as we watched the news and tried to figure out why and how this could happen.  I will never forget and I continue to keep all the families and friends of the victims in my thoughts and prayers.
