Hi Cupcake

Happy Saturday everyone,

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. My card today is my submission to this week's Tilda & Company Blog Challenge (you can read about the challenge here: http://magnoliachallengeblog.blogspot.com/, or you can click on the link on the right-hand side of my blog). Our challenge for this week was a chocolate theme. We had to use the colors pink, chocolate (brown) and white.

I stamped Tilda, from Magnolia stamps, onto Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored her in with my copics. I added glossy accents to the icing on the cupcake in her hand and added Diamond Stickles to her wings. I then cut her out. Next, I stamped my background on the white paper. The white paper is GP cardstock. I stamped a cupcake stamp from Inkadinkado's Birthday Cupcake set (I got these from my friend Marti's store at http://www.pezadoodle.com/index.html) all over the white background paper. I then colored the cupcakes in with my copics. I placed Glossy Accents on the frosting and Cotton Candy Stickles on the hearts.

I then created my card base, which measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2, out of SU's Pretty in Pink. I layered Close to Cocoa on top of that followed by Pretty in Pink designer series paper (from SU's last catalog). I then layered my white paper with the colored cupcakes onto Pretty in Pink followed by Close to Cocoa. I then adhered that to the card base. Next, I used my nestabilities to cut out the scalloped circles. I adhered them to the card base with dimensionals. I then adhered Tilda to the circles with dimensionals. I then stamped the sentiment (from the same Inkadinkado set) onto Pretty in Pink and used SU's ticket corner punch on the corners. I then adhered the sentiment to the card using dimensionals. Finally, for a finshing touch, I added Primas.
