Hello Little Bird

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have a super quick post for you today as I have to run to work. For my card today, I decided to use this adorable Elisabeth Bell image available at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. I colored this sweet image with copics (pinks: R81, R83, R85; blues: B32, B34, B37) and then cut the image out with my circle nestabilities. I then inked around the image with SU's Pretty in Pink ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from Basic Grey. For some finishing touches, I added blue pearls, a bow (tied with my awesome Bow Easy), Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day! :)

A Sweet Pea Saturday

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday! :) I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Before I get to my card today, I wanted to share some exciting Sweet Pea news with you.

Until August 30th, if you spend $25 or more at Sweet Pea Stamps, shipping is free! Also, make sure to check out the Sweet Pea blog HERE, we are running a contest and the winner will receive a free sheet of stamps so definitely check that out! :)

I felt in the Halloween mood yesterday when I was working on this card. Sweet Pea Stamps has some awesome Halloween images. For my card, I used an image called Exotic Halloween. I had so much fun coloring this one. I colored the image with copics, and then added some Stardust Stickles to the pumpkins. It's a little hard to see in the picture, but I added Glossy Accents to the light from the candles to give it a shine/glow. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV (I just found it at JoAnn's last weekend). For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow, rhinestones, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. I'll have pictures of Charleston for you on Monday, I haven't had a chance to get them loaded yet. Have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hey Girlfriend

Hi Everyone and Happy Friday! :) My husband and I are back from our amazing vacation to Charleston, SC. Wow, what a beautiful city!! I did not want to leave, it is truly gorgeous and so full of history too (hubby and I are both history majors so we love anything historical :) ). In my next post, I'll share some pictures of Charleston with you. For today, I have a quick and easy card I put together before I left for vacation, but didn't have time to post it.

For my card, I decided to ink up this adorable image illustrated by Victoria Case and available at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This image is called Sweet Whispers and I think this image is so sweet. I colored the image with copics and added some Stardust Stickles for some shine. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from MME. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

I hope you have all had a wonderful week. I'm a little behind on leaving comments and visiting your lovely blogs so I'll get caught up this weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Believe in Fairy Tales

Hi everyone and Happy Monday :) I hope you all are having a wonderful day and had a wonderful weekend. It was a nice restful weekend here and I got lots of time in the craft room so I can't complain :)

For my project today, I decided to ink up this adorable Lady Tilda from the Fairy Tales collection, available at Magnolialicious (link on my sidebar). I decided to create a card and a castle goodie box to go with it. I first created my card. I colored the image with copics (dress: V01, V12, V15, V17; skin: E00, E11, E13, RV21; hair: E33, E35, E37) and then cut the image out and added Stardust Stickles to her headband. Next I cut my ovals out using my oval nesties and ran the top oval through my cuttlebug using my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then created my card base out of SU cardstock. The DP is from MME. I added the ovals and Tilda with dimensionals and then added a bow, pearls, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for some finishing touches.

Next I created my little castle box using my Cricut (the box base was cut out by me but the castle was cut out using the Once Upon a Princess cricut cartridge. I cut the castle out twice (one for each side of the box) at 3 and a half inches. I adhered the pieces of the castle together with lots of dimensionals. I added a little treat bag inside the box as a little gift. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today, I must run to work. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Miss You Tilda

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day. I've got another busy day today at work so I'll make this short and sweet. It's been so long since I've inked up a Magnolia image so for my card today, I decided to ink up this adorable Tilda (I think she's called Jam Tilda and I got her at Magnolialicious -- link on my sidebar). I colored the image with copics (pinks: R81, R83, R85; skin: E00, E11, E13; hair: E33, E35, E37) and then cut the image out. I added Stardust Stickles to her hair bows for some extra sparkle. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Regal Rose and Whisper White). My DP is also from SU. I used my SU ticket corner punch on all corners and added pearls. I cut the ovals out with my oval nesties and ran the top oval through my cuttlebug with my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then adhered Tilda to the ovals with dimensionals. For some finishing touches, I added a ribbon, a bow, a heart charm, and Primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day! :)

Make a Wish

Hi everyone and Happy Monday :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I have a quick post for you this morning before I head out to work. For my card today, I just had to ink up this gorgeous image illustrated by Elaine Cox and available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Little Black Unicorn and I think this is one of my absolute favorite images. I colored the image with copics and then shaded around the top of the image with SU's Rose Red ink. I added Stardust Stickles to the unicorn's horn and to the fairy's wings. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Always Artichoke and Rose Red). My DP is from MME. For some finishing touches, I added a bow (tied with my Bow Easy), pearls, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, sorry to be so short today but I have to run to work. I hope you all have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by!

You are my Sunshine

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday! I'm SO sorry I haven't posted in so long. I've been feeling a bit run down lately and that coupled with moving up to a different position at work and going through training has left little time for crafting the last few weeks (don't get me wrong, I am SO excited about my new position, it's just a lot of work and a lot of learning). It felt so good to get back into the craft room last night :) I've missed all your beautiful blogs and will be getting caught up on comments this weekend.

For my card today, I wanted to create a bright, fun, summery card. I decided to use this adorable image illustrated by Victoria Case and available at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This particular image is called By the Sea and I think she's absolutely adorable. I colored the image with copics and then added Stardust Stickles to the flowers on her cap and the ripples in the water. Next, I sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. I then cut the image out using my circle nestabilities. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. The DP is from MME. I added blue pearls to the corners, a bow, roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, and dew drops for some finishing touches. The sentiment is from an old Studio G set. What do you think?

I'm hoping to get back to a regular posting schedule soon. I am in training for the rest of this month and we are also taking a vacation to Charleston, South Carolina at the end of the month (I'm SO excited!!! :) ), so posting might be a little light, but I'm going to try to keep up. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day and a wonderful weekend!
