Holiday Wishes

Happy Sunday everyone,

I had an awesome time at my copics class last night with Suzanne Dean. I learned some fabulous tips for making my coloring better. I colored the images in my card today before my class, but I look forward to posting cards soon using the new techniques I learned.

For my card today, I used another Willow stamp from Whiff of Joy's new line created by Elisabeth Bell. I inked Willow in Memento black ink and stamped her onto Georgia Pacific cardstock. I then colored her with my copics and cut her out. I added glitter from my Sakura glitter pen to the holly leaves and berries on her dress and on top of the lantern and I also added glitter to the lantern light.

I love placing my stamped characters in a scene. The scene stamp is from The Stampin Place. I inked it up using Memento black ink and stamped it onto Georgia Pacific cardstock. I colored it with my copics and added glitter everywhere :) (If you click on the second picture to make it bigger, you can see the glitter really well). This one took quite a bit of time to color, but I think it turned out pretty well.

My card base measures 5x7 and is from SU's Pretty in Pink. I layered Bashful Blue on top of that followed by my designer paper from DCWV's Holiday paper stack. I used SU's ticket corner punch on the corners and placed pearls in the corners. I mounted the scene onto Bashful Blue and adhered it to my card base using dimensionals. I then adhered Willow to the scene using dimensionals. The sentiment is from Verve. Finally, I added Primas to the bottom right hand corner of the scene.

I would love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a lovely weekend.

Hugs,
Christine :)
