Tilda Swinging
Good evening everyone,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. For my card today, I just had to ink up my new Magnolia stamps. I have become addicted to Magnolia stamps, they are so adorable. There is finally a U.S. retailer for these stamps. If you are interested in ordering some Magnolia stamps, please contact Diana Crick (of ScorPal) at magnolia.us@shaw.ca and she will send you an e-mail with the various stamps she has in stock. She will be opening an online store soon. Also be sure to check out Magnolialicious, a new Yahoo group created by Diana.
As for my card, all stamps are Magnolia. I stamped the swing on white Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers. I then cut out a circle around the swing with my Nestabilities. I then stamped Tilda onto white Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored her in with my Copic markers. I added some diamond stickles to her wings. I then cut her out and adhered her to the swing with dimensionals, so she really popped. I then cut a scalloped circle out of Stampin Up's Regal Rose carstock with my nestabilities to layer under the swing and Tilda image. I adhered that image to two separate pieces of cute paper from Die Cuts With a View's Nana Nursery stack (the girl stack). That was then layered onto SU's So Saffron cardstock, which was then layered onto my Regal Rose card base. The ribbon is from the Target dollar bin. The flowers are by Imaginisce and I placed pink dew drops in the center of the flowers. The card measures 5x7.
This was a pretty simple card, but I'm pleased with how it turned out. I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by. More tomorrow :)
Christine
