Hanna Stamps: Hey Girlfriend

Hi everyone! :) I am so excited, I have finally decided to enter the blogging world. This is my first official post and I would really love to hear what you think of it. Please feel free to drop me an e-mail or a comment, I would love to hear from you.
The card posted above is my first card made using my new Copic markers. These markers, while quite pricey, are truly worth the investment. To learn all about Copics, take a look at Marianne's blog at http://ilikemarkers.blogspot.com/ She has fabulous tips on how to use the markers and which markers to purchase. All stamps are from Hanna Stamps. I have fallen in love with these images, they are so cute. These stamps are from the Hanna Cafe set. I colored all images with my Copics. I cut out the vase and flower and the candies and popped them on the table with dimensionals. My card base measures 5 x 7, which is my new favorite card size. It's nice to have a larger space to work with than the standard A2 card size. All paper used is Stampin Up (SU). I layered the stamped image onto Regal Rose cardstock. I then layered that onto Rose Red. Next, I layered that onto Handsome Hunter and Berry Bliss DP (which is retiring on August 11, so I made sure to stock up . . . I LOVE that paper :)). Finally, I layered everything onto my card base, which is Rose Red. I used the SU ticket corner punch on all of my corners. The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White cardstock. The pink glitter brads are from Making Memories. The flowers are from Imaginisce and the pink jeweled brad in the center of the flower is also from Making Memories.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow with another post. Have a lovely evening.
Christine :)
