A Magnolia Christmas

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm sorry for the late post today, it's just been one of those crazy busy days. For my card today, I inked up the Christmas scene from The Stampin Place (they have great scenes that go wonderfully with Magnolias) with Memento black ink, stamped it onto Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored it with copics. I added liquid applique to the white around the stockings. I also added lots of stickles and glossy accents to the clock face and the milk glass. Next, I stamped Tilda with Memento ink onto GP cardstock, colored her with copics, and cut her out. I added stickles to her wings. I next created my card base, which measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2, out of SU's Handsome Hunter. I layered SU's Bravo Burgandy on top of that followed by my design paper from Basic Grey's Wassail collection (it's so beautiful, I love this paper! :) ). I adhered my scene directly onto the card base and adhered Tilda with dimensionals. For a finishing touch, I added Primas and a Martha Stewart pearl.

I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you are all having a wonderful week. More tomorrow! :)

Hugs, Christine :)
