Robin Hood and Maid Marian

Happy Sunday everyone! :) Phew! This card was certainly a labor of love. I have literally been working on this card all day long today, but I'm really pleased with the result, so it was worth it :)

I love, love, love these stamps by Spiral Whisper. The background is called Castle on the Hill. I love this background stamp, it is so detailed and is so much fun to color. I stamped it with Memento black ink onto Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored it in with copics. I stamped it two more times for the castle and popped the castle twice with dimensionals to give it some dimension. I then stamped Maid Milly and Robin Hood Max onto a separate sheet of GP cardstock, colored them with copics, and cut them out. I added stickles to their outfits (of course :) ).

Next, I created my card base (which measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2) out of SU's Always Artichoke. I layered Elegant Eggplant on top of that followed by my design paper from DCWV's Once Upon a Time collection. I added a purple ribbon from M's and then I mounted my main image (which I layered on top of Elegant Eggplant and Always Artichoke) onto the card base using dimensionals. I then mounted Millie and Max onto the image using dimensionals.

What do you think? Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I'll be back here tomorrow with another project.

Hugs, Christine :)

I will have to find a photo to share, that castle reminds me of the one were we were stationed in Germany.
