Magic Happens

Happy Friday everyone!!! :) I'm so glad the weekend is almost here. It's been another crazy week and I'm looking forward to a little down time this weekend. Hubby and I don't have any big plans, but sometimes those are the best weekends, just resting and hanging out :)

Well, onto my card for today. I had so much fun creating this card. All stamps are from High Hopes (from their newest release). I used this week's sketch challenge over on Splitcoast (SC201) for my layout.

Fist, I stamped the castle three times onto Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored it in with copics. I cut out two of the three castles I stamped. I layered the entire castle onto the castle I did not cut out with dimensionals. I then layered just the front part of the third castle with dimensionals. It's hard to see from the picture, but the castle really pops.

Next, I stamped the princess, mushroom, and knight onto Georgia Pacific cardstock, colored them in with copics, and cut them out. I added lots of stickles to the princess. Next, I put my card together using the sketch on Splitcoast. All cardstock is from SU (Bravo Burgandy and Night of Navy). The Once Upon a Time design paper is from DCWV's Once Upon a Time stack. The blue design paper is from DCWV's Nana's Nursery stack (baby boy). I stamped my sentiment on the tag which I made using my new nestability tag and I ran navy blue ribbon from M's dollar bin through the tag. Finally, I adhered the princess, mushroom, and knight onto the card using dimensionals. I made this card for my hubby as he truly is my knight in shining armor. I hope he likes it :)

I'd love to hear what you think of my card. Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll see you back here tomorrow. :)

Hugs,

Christine :)
