Enchantment

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day and a wonderful week. Things are crazy busy here as usual, but I can't complain :) For my card today, I just had to ink up another new image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This one is illustrated by the fabulous ching chou kuik and is called Moonlight Siren (I made mine a "daylight" siren) :) I colored the image with copics and then added lots of Star Dust Stickles to the butterflies, her shawl, and the waves of the water. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. The design paper is by Kaisercraft (Gypsy Sisters collection). The sentiment is also from Sweet Pea Stamps. For some finishing touches I added a bow, dew drops, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Bamboo Serenade

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday :) I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I got some money from my dad for my birthday and I decided to use it to buy a new suit for work. Well, when I went to try on new suits last weekend, I realized I had gone up a pants size!!! Eeeeek! :) So, I have been doing Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and boy oh boy am I in pain :) She really works you, but I hear the results are worth it so I'm trying to hang in there. Hopefully I'll survive this first week :) Wish me luck :)

For my card today, I decided to use this gorgeous image available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Bamboo Serenade and I think she's gorgeous, I love ching-chou kuik's work. I colored the image with copics (pinks: R81, R83, R85; hair: E33, E35, E37; greens: G24, G28 (I used some other greens, but forgot to write it down, sorry!); skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21). I added some Stardust Stickles to the flower in her hair and then sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. Next, I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Certainly Celery and Regal Rose). The design paper is from MME (Home collection). I used my cuttlebug and a cuttlebug die to create the two corner accents. I added pearls, a bow (tied with my Bow Easy), and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for some finishing touches. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much for stopping by. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

...and they lived happily ever after.
