Happy Monday morning everyone,
This promises to be another crazy week at work so before the madness begins, I thought I'd post another card :)
My card today is my submission for the Friday Sketchers blog challenge. You can see the sketch, as well as the other submissions, here: http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/.
I stamped this adorable Tilda, which I purchased from Diana Crick of Scor-Pal, onto Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored her in with my copics. I added Diamond Stickles to her wing. I then cut her out. I created my card base, which measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2, out of SU's Regal Rose. I then layered on top of that SU's Close to Cocoa followed by designer paper from Provo Crafts Slab IX, which I got at Michael's. I created my circles and scallops from my nestabilities. I ran the circles through the cuttlebug using an embossing folder (I think it's called swirls, or something like that). I placed the ribbon, which I got from Michael's, on the card base, and then adhered the scalloped circles with dimensionals and then adhered Tilda with dimensionals. The sentiment is from a very old SU set called Paris in the Spring. I stamped it with SU's Chocolate Chip ink. I adhered the sentiment panel with dimensionals as well. For some finishing touches, I added primas, Making Memories brads, and pearls from Martha Stewart.
I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day. More tomorrow :)
Christine :)
