Come Fly With Me - Some Super Exciting News!!!

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday!  I hope you all had a lovely holiday and a wonderful New Year celebration.  We had a wonderful, low key holiday and New Year celebration, which was perfect and just how I wanted it.  2014 was a pretty rough year for me personally, but 2015 is looking up.  I have some amazing, crafty dream come true news to share.  I have become a permanent member of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps DT!!!!!  That's right, I'm a Krafty Girl!!!!!!  This is truly a dream come true for me.  The very first stamp I purchased to color with copics was a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp.  My personal goal in my stamping "career," my ultimate dream, was to become a Krafty Girl some day and Kim made that dream come true for me.  After a really, really rough 2014, this was even more special for me.  So, thank you Kim, and the rest of the amazing Krafty Girls.  I'm so excited for 2015.

Well, it's Saturday so that means it's an other Saturday Challenge over on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog.  Krafty Girl Stephanie is our hostess this week and the challenge is vacation themed.  There are so many images in the KKS library that could fit really any theme.  Here's my card:

For my card, I inked up this gorgeous image from the Glamour Girls Stamp Set.  This set is so versatile. You could use these images for Valentine's cards, vacation cards, really anything!  Love how versatile KKS are!  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Pinks: RV10, R81, R83, R85, R89
Blacks: C3, C5, C7, C9
Blue: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99

My DP is from Echo Park (a summer set from I think 2 summers ago that I've been hoarding :) ).  I added a bow, some pearls, some die cuts (the border die is from La La Land Crafts and the die cut extending from the image is from Memory Box dies).  I also added some pearls and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment comes with the stamp set.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  I can't wait to share my journey with you as a full time Krafty Girl!  Huge hugs and Happy New Year!
