Make a Wish

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! :)  Sorry I haven't been around in a bit, but this time of year, I always battle sinus issues with allergies and such.  Plus, we've been swamped with family activities and work.  I also have some really exciting news.  I have decided to open up my very own Etsy store where I will be selling many of my homemade creations!  This card as well as several others are already up over at my store.  Here's a link to my store:  Ever After Paper Crafts on Etsy.  It will take me a couple more days to get all my cards up so keep checking back if you are interested.  Also, I will be taking custom orders too so feel free to message me on Etsy if you are interested.

Anyway, the new challenge is up today over at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this go around is anything goes with an optional twist to use alcohol markers on your project.  Here's my card:

How cute is this image?!?!  This image is called Wendy's Birthday Cake by CandiBean (Little Darlings Rubber Stamps).  Isn't she adorable?  She was so much fun to color.  I inked the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamped it onto Copic Xpress Blending Card.  I of course colored her with Copic Markers.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85
Cake frosting: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47
Blues: BV000, BV01, BV05, BV09
Shoes: E41, E42, E43, E44
Crown and Candles: Y35, Y38, E18

Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock.  My DP is from MME.  The sentiment is from Joy's Life stamps.  The die cuts were made using a Memory Box die (Tab will be getting Memory Box Dies in the store soon so check back soon!).  I added a ribbon and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for some finishing touches (I always use Scor Tape to adhere by bows and flowers, it works like a charm every time).  Here are a few more pictures:

What do you think?  Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by and make sure to stop by 7 Kids College Fund for all your crafting needs :)
