Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! :) I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have to keep my chit chat short today, I have to get to work early, so I'll get right to my card.
For my card today, I put together a quick and easy Christmas card using an image from the new Jolly Holiday cricut lite cartridge. Remember how I told you yesterday that on Black Friday, my husband and I were at Wal-Mart at midnight? Well, this Cricut Cartridge is the reason why :) These cricut cartridges were brand new, they came out on Black Friday, and were only $20! They have so many adorable images on them! :) I cut the skating girl out at 4 1/4". I pieced her together and then added doodling all around. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from MME (My Mind's Eye). The white strip of cardstock was embossed using my snowflakes embossing folder. For some finishing touches, I added a double looped bow (tied using my Bow Easy), Primas, and pearls. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. I hope you enjoyed my Cricut card :) Thanks as always for stopping by. I'll see you back here tomorrow with a new Sweet Pea card!

Chit Chat
Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and I hope all my friends in the States had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My husband and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My family all met up at my sister's house and we spent the day laughing and pigging out. At 5:00 on Thanksgiving day, I took my nieces to Michael's because I just had to get a Gypsy on sale :) We had so much fun. Then on Black Friday, hubby and I were at Wal-Mart at midnight (had to get the new exclusive cricut cartridges for $20!) and then we got a couple of hours of sleep and were up at 4 for the rest of our shopping. It was crazy out there, but we got almost all of our Christmas shopping done which was great. We spent the rest of the weekend vegging :)
I was able to get some time in the craft room this weekend, but unfortunately, our Internet went down. It's back up now, but I have to head to work and don't have time to upload any projects this morning. I'll be back up and rolling tomorrow. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow! :)

Happy Holidays
Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a great week. Are all my friends in the States gearing up for Thanksgiving? I'm so looking forward to some time with family and some time off of work. Can't wait! :)
I have another Christmas card to share with you today. This one uses a gorgeous image illustrated by Sarah Kay (I got mine at 7 Kids College Fund). I colored the image with copics and then shaded around the image to create my sky using SU's Bashful Blue ink and my Tim Holtz blending tool. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. I also added some Stardust Stickles to the snow. My DP is from DCWV. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow (tied with my bow easy), dew drops, snowflakes (these I got last year at Michael's, I believe they were the Michael's Recollection brand), and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Studio G. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. I have a busy day at work so I better get going. Have a wonderful day and thanks so much as always for stopping by.

I'm Back with a New Sweet Pea Card :)
Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've posted. Last week was an incredibly stressful week but, thank goodness, it's over and I get to look forward to Thanksgiving with my family later this week :) Are any of you out there Black Friday shoppers? My husband and I are, we always get amazing deals on Black Friday. I plan to get some crafty things, Michael's is having an awesome sale :) Can't wait! :) Anyway, onto my card for today.
I'm so excited to share my card with you today. Lynette, the owner of Sweet Pea Stamps has added some incredible new artists to her stamp designs. This particular image is illustrated by the amazing Caron Vinson. I LOVE her illustrations, they are absolutely gorgeous! This particular image is called Blue Fairy (of course, I didn't color mine blue :) ). I colored my image with copics. I then sponged around my image lightly with purple ink using my Tim Holtz blending tool. Next I added some Stardust Stickles to her wings and some purple glitter from my purple glitter Sakura gel pen to her bracelets. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. The yummy DP is from DCWV (love this paper!). For some finishing touches, I added pearls, Primas, roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, and a butterfly, which was made by Prima (I got it at Michael's). What do you think?

Just Checking In
Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't posted this week. Work has been so crazy, I haven't had any time to get to the craft room. After today, things should slow down until after Thanksgiving. I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I've fallen behind on visiting your beautiful blogs, but I will catch up tomorrow. Big Hugs!

Shall We Dance
Hi everyone and Happy Monday :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are having a great day! I have a super quick post for you, I have a million things to get done at work today and must get to it. I have two Cricut cards to share with you today, both made using the new Shall We Dance cartridge. I LOVE this cartridge, it has so many fun images. I used to dance when I was younger and then took dance up again in college. I loved it so much so I just had to get this cartridge! :)
For my first card, I cut the image out at 5". I used Peach Keen Princess face stamps for her face (LOVE these stamps!). All cardstock is from SU. For some extra touches, I added pearls, Primas, a bow, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
For my second card, I cut the image out at 5". All cardstock is from SU. I used a different face stamp from the Peach Keen Princess face assortment for her face. My DP is from DCWV. I added a ribbon, bow, ballerina charm, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. Hope you enjoyed my dancers :) Have a wonderful day and thanks so much as always for stopping by.

Girl Talk
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! :) I'm so glad the weekend is almost here. I have a massive amount of work to get done today but if I can get through that, I'll be able to get some R&R this weekend :) I had a lovely day off yesterday and got to spend some time in the craft room. I have two cards to share with you today.
For my first card I decided to use this adorable stamp illustrated by Elisabeth Bell and available HERE at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. I had so much fun coloring this one. I colored her with copics and then lightly inked around the image with purple ink using my Tim Holtz blending tool. Next I created my card base using SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV. For some finishing touches, I added ribbon, a bow (which I tied with my Bow Easy), Primas, roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, pearls, and a cell phone mini charm that I got at JoAnn's. The fun sentiment is from an MFT set. What do you think?
For my second card today, I decided to use my paper scraps from my first card to create a new Cricut Card using the Forever Young Cricut cartridge. I cut the image out at 4". Next I created my card base with SU cardstock. I added a black ribbon and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. Just a super simple but fun card. What do you think?

Hey Girlfriend - You Rock!
Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I'm so excited, I have tomorrow off for Veteran's Day so I plan to spend much of the day in the craft room. This week at work has so far been absolutely crazy busy and exhausting so I'm really looking forward to a day off! :)
I have a super quick and super fun Cricut card to share with you today. I just love the way this card turned out. I decided to use my Rock Princess cartridge to create a fun girly card. I first cut the image out at 4" and put the image together (I used SU cardstock on everything but her shirt, for that, I used DCWV glitter cardstock). Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV (All Dressed Up stack). For some fun touches, I added pearls, a ribbon and bow, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. I adhered the rocker girl to my card base using dimensionals. Finally, I added the sentiment (which is from an old Hanna Stamps set). What do you think?
Side Note: I still have not heard from Alison who won my Sweet Pea Blog Candy. If I do not hear from you by midnight tonight EST, I'll have to pick another winner.
I hope you enjoyed my Cricut card today. Thanks so much as always for stopping by. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here soon! :)

A Sweet Pea Merry Christmas
Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I loved getting an extra hour of sleep yesterday, but I always hate it when it gets dark so early in the evenings now. It feels like the days go by so much faster. Anyway, I was lucky enough to get some time in the craft room over the weekend and I wanted to share my first Christmas card with you today (one down, so many to go!!! :) ).
I absolutely love this image illustrated by ching chou kuik for Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Holly Fairy and I think she is absolutely gorgeous! I truly had so much fun coloring this image. I colored the image with copics (I just love pink mixed in with traditional Christmas colors so I had to color her dress and wings pink :) ). I inked around the image very lightly with SU's Pretty in Pink ink and then added Stardust Stickles to her wings. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My design paper is from Recollections (I got it at Michael's). For some finishing touches, I added pearls, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Studio G. What do you think?
