Kitten Love and Fancy Tilda

Hi everyone and Happy Friday! :) The weekend is almost here (yay!) :) We got a little bit of snow here last night, but nothing too bad (unlike a few weeks before Christmas when we got 22 inches, eeek, that wasn't very fun) :) Anywho, onto my cards for today. I have two Magnolia cards to share with you today.

My first card uses this adorable Magnolia image called Tilda With Cat. I think this is truly one of my favorite Tilda images ever. Hubby and I have two kitten furbabies and the expression on this cat looks just like one of our kittens (Charley). Too cute! :) Anyway, I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored the image with copics (again, R89, R85, R83 and R81 for the pinks, this is truly the best pink combo I have found). All cardstock is SU (Rose Red and Regal Rose). The design paper is also SU. I used my Martha Stewart Doily Lace edge punch for the center panel. I also used my SU Ticket Corner Punch on the corners and added white pearls. I added some Diamond Stickles to her hair bows and some Glossy Accents to her shoes. I used my EK Success Large Flourish Punch for the swirls in each corner. Finally, I added a pink ribbon and bow (which I tied with my Bow Easy). What do you think?

For my second card today, I decided to create a fun pastel colored card (sort of wishful thinking for spring) :) For this card, I used Tilda With Petticoats. I colored her with copics and added Diamond Stickles to her hair bow and to her wings and belt. I cut her and the rectangle panel out with nesties. All cardstock is SU (Pretty in Pink and Banana). The design paper is from DCWV Baby Girl stack. I added some pink rhinestones that I got from Michael's and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for finishing touches.

I hope you enjoyed my projects for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful Friday and I'll see you back here tomorrow.

Hugs, Christine :)
