Tulip Faery

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday :) Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I have another fairy card for you today. This one is called Tulip Fairy and I think she is just gorgeous. Check out her along with several other gorgeous fairy stamps at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. These images stamp beautifully and are a dream to color in. Susana can even mount them for you on cling foam for only $.50 (and believe me, this makes stamping with an acrylic block so much easier) :)

I first stamped the fairy onto PTI cardstock and then I colored her in with copics. I added Baby Blue Stickles to her wings and Diamond Stickles to the tulips. I then used my circle nestability die to cut the image out. I next created my card base, which measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2, out of SU's Brocade Blue. I layered Rose Red on top of that followed by So Saffron, followed by my designer paper from DCWV's Once Upon a Time stack. I used my scalloped circle nestabilities to cut out the scalloped circles and then mounted them to each other and to the card base with dimensionals. For a finishing touch, I added Primas and a Martha Stewart pearl to the card. I thought this would make a nice "Just Saying Hi" card for a friend of mine.

What do you think? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I'll be back tomorrow with another project.

Hugs, Christine :)
