Happy Monday everyone :) Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My card today features one of the sassy Rubber Romance ladies available at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This one is called Vivian. I just love her (and of course, I love her shoes) :):) I stamped the image onto PTI cardstock and colored it with copics. I then cut it out and sponged around the image with Versamagic Perfect Plumeria ink. I then created my card base (which measures 5x7) out of SU's Basic Black. I layered Regal Rose on top of that followed by my design paper by Amanda Blu. I then mounted my image onto Basic Black with dimensionals followed by Rose Red and mounted the entire image panel to the card base using dimensionals. I used SU's ticket corner punch on all corners and added pearls to each corner.
The singe shoe is a stamp from Susana's very own line of stamps, seen here. Susana's stamps are so fun and really compliment the Rubber Romance ladies well. I stamped the shoe, colored it in with copics, and used my nesties to cut it and the scalloped circles out. I added a bow from Michael's as well. For a finishing touch, I added black Primas with pearl centers to the card.
In other exciting Rubber Romance news, check out Susana's Home Page for some awesome web candy. Robin Ireland, the owner/designer of Rubber Romance stamps, has graciously autographed one of her stamps and has created a card to showcase that stamp. Susana is giving this, as well as some other goodies, away. Check out Susana's home page for all the details on entering. Suzanne Dean is also offering another Rubber Romance stamp, autographed by the designer, on her blog. See her blog for more details on how to enter.
Well, that's it from me today. I hope you enjoy the card and make sure to enter for the fabulous prizes. I'll be back here tomorrow with another project.
