Reach for the Stars

Happy Tuesday everyone :) Hope your week is off to a great start. I just love these fairies available at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. They stamp beautifully and are so much fun to color in. I stamped Nadine onto PTI cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her in with copics. I added White Opal Liquid Pearl to her wings. Next, I used my circle nestabilities to cut out a circle. I then painted Gold Liquid Pearl over the surface of the circle to make it look like the moon.

Next, I created my card base (which measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2) out of SU's Chocolate Chip. I layered Elegant Eggpalnt on top of that followed by Night of Navy, followed by my design paper from DCWV's Once Upon a Time stack. I then used my scalloped circle nesties to cut out the scalloped circles and attached them to each other and to the card base with dimensionals. I added stars (from Michael's) to the "moon" and then adhered the fairy with dimensionals. I pooped the big star with dimensionals as well. I stamped the sentiment onto my SU cardstock and adhered with dimesionals. For a finishing touch, I added blue Primas to the card.

I'd love to hear what you think. Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow with a Christmas project (I really am procrastinating, must get back to some Christmas projects) :)

Hugs, Christine :)
