For my card today, I just had to ink up this adorable image. She's called Annabel the Mermaid and she was so fun to ink up. It was so funny, I colored her up to match this gorgeous design paper I just purchased and then remembered, ack, I can't use my DP! :) Anyway, I of course colored her with copics. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Blues: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG09
Purples: V000, V01, V04, V06, V09
I used my brand new Tim Holtz Distress Marker Spritzer and the Weathered Wood marker to do the background inking around the image. I really like the look of this, I'm definitely going to have to get some more distress markers. Since I couldn't use designer paper, I wanted to create some texture in my cardstock so I ran it through the Cuttlebug using a polka dot embossing folder. The die cuts were made using a Memory Box die. I added a bow and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts and I also added some pearls. The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. Thanks so much as always for stopping by. Make sure to head over to the Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge Blog to check out the rest of the fabulous DT creations and join in the challenge.
