Dark Royalty

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday! I'm so sorry I've been MIA this week. I was working on a huge brief at work all week and was coming home pretty exhausted in the evenings. I was finally able to get into the craft room last night. I am behind on commenting on all of your fabulous blogs, but I will get caught up this weekend.

For my card today, I decided to ink up another fabulous image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Dark Royalty and I think she's fabulous! I colored the image with copics (pinks; RV21, RV23, RV25; hair; E33, E35, E37; tail: BV72, BV75; skin: E00, E11, E13, RV21) and then lightly sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. I added some Stardust Stickles to her wings and to the flowers. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Taken with Teal and Regal Rose). The design paper is from Kaisercraft (I love this paper, I think it was meant to go with these images!) :) For some finishing touches, I added a bow (tied with my Bow Easy), pearls, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Sorry to make this so short, but I've got weekend errands to run. I plan to get lots of crafting time in this weekend so I should have lots to share with you next week :) Have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!
