Dream
Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! My back is feeling much better, thanks so much for all the well wishes. I was finally able to get back into the craft room last night and I have a quick card to share with you today. For my card today, I decided to ink up this beautiful new image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is from ching chou-kuik's Fantasy Art Collection and is called Spring Witch. I love this image, it's one of my favorites (but I do say that about all of them :) ). I colored the image with copics (e-mail me if you want the list) and then lightly inked around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. I added lots of Stardust Stickles to the flowers. Next, I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Not Quite Navy and Perfect Plum). The design paper is from K&Co. For some finishing touches, I added a double looped bow (tied with my Bow Easy), Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

Ouch!
Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that your week is off to a great start. I'm so sorry, I don't have a card to share with you today. I try to get a lot of cards made to share during the week over the weekend since I work full time during the week. On Saturday, I went out to run some errands and as I was getting bags out of the car, I twisted my back somehow. I just couldn't sit at the craft table this weekend, my back hurt so bad. It's feeling a bit better this morning so hopefully I'm on the mend :) My posting might be a little light this week but I'm going to try to catch up. Have a wonderful day! :)

Miss You
Hello everyone and Happy Thursday :) Boy is it hot here in WV. In the 90s and very humid. I hope it's a little cooler where you are :) I have a super quick post for you today so I'll keep my chit chat short.
For my card today, I decided to use this adorable Elisabeth Bell image from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This particular image is called Day Dreaming and I think she's oh so cute :) I colored the image with copics (I don't know about you, but I'd love to have a house with pink shutters . . . don't think hubby would go for that though :) ) and then I added Stardust Stickles to the curtains and to her hair band. I cut the image out and then using my Scor Pal, I creased around the shutters so I could bend them out for a more 3D effect. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. The design paper is from MME (Penny Lane Collection). For some finishing touches, I added a bow, pearls, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
Thank you all so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here soon.

At the Horse Show
Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! :) I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have a super quick post for you today. I decided for my card today to ink up this adorable image by Elisabeth Bell for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This particular image is called At the Horse Show and I think she's just adorable. She actually reminds me a lot of me as a little girl. I probably had every Breyer horse ever made :) My Great Aunt Lydia used to crochet me horse blankets for my Breyer horses. I also used to ride competitively in horse shows. I loved horses (until one day I had a really bad fall, haven't been up on one since). I just finished an awesome book called The Lost Hours by Karen White. It was SO good and was actually about a horseback rider who had a really bad fall so I could definitely relate. I recommend anything by Karen White, I'm just pouring through her books, I think they are absolutely fabulous!
Anyway, back to the card. I colored the image with copics and then cut the image out using my nestabilities. While the image was still in the nestability, I sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. I next created my card base out of SU cardstock (Chocolate Chip and Bordering Blue). The design paper is from MME (Bella Bella collection). For some finishing touches, I added a bow, dew drops, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Magic
Hi everyone and Happy Monday :) I'm so sorry for my lack of posting last week. I started a book called On Folly Beach by Karen White and it truly was one of the best books I've ever read in my life. Every night when I got home from work, after dinner I'd head upstairs to read. I finished the book at the end of the week and boy oh boy was it good. Truly one of the best books ever. But, now that I'm done, I decided it was time to get back into the craft room :) I will also try to catch up on all your beautiful blogs, I've missed seeing your beautiful creations.
For my card today, I just had to ink up one of my new images from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Autumn Falls and I think she's gorgeous! I colored the image with copics (pinks: R81, R83, R85, RV21, RV23, RV25; blues: B000, B02, BG72, BG75; skin: E00, E11, E13; hair: E33, E35, E37) and then I inked around the image lightly with SU's Bashful Blue ink. I added some Stardust Stickles to the waterfall to give it a bit of sparkle. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Rose Red and Not Quite Navy). The design paper is from K&Co. For some finishing touches, I added a bow, corner cut outs from my cuttlebug die, pearls, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. I should be back to my regular posting schedule this week (unless another awesome book comes along) :) Hope you all have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by.

Pretty in Pink
Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday :) I hope you are having a fantastic week. I have a very special card to share with you today. My good blogging friend Brandi has started her own digi stamp company called Fairy Knoll (see all the cute images HERE). Brandi asked me if I wouldn't mind creating some cards with her new images and I jumped at the chance. For my card today, I used this adorable image called Bianca. I colored her with copics (dress: RV21, RV23, RV25; hair: E33, E35, E37; eyes: B000, B02; chair: E55, E57; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21) and then added some glossy accents to her eyes to make them shine. I also lightly shaded around the image with SU's Pretty in Pink ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Regal Rose and White). The design paper is also from SU. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow, a shoe from Dress It Up Buttons (Once Upon a Time collection), and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Hey Girlfriend
Hi everyone and Happy Monday :) I hope you had a wonderful weekend and that your week is off to a great start. I have a super quick post for you today (Mondays are always super busy) :)
For my card today, I decided to ink up this adorable image by Victoria Case for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This particular image is called Aud and I think she's just adorable. I colored her with copics and then cut her out. I cut the ovals out with my oval nesties and ran the top oval through the cuttlebug using my Swiss Dots embossing folder. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Basic Black and Regal Rose). The design paper is from Making Memories. The sentiment is from an old Hanna Stamps set and I cut it out with my SU Word Window Punch. For some finishing touches, I added a ribbon and bow, a purse charm, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Dark Royalty
Hi everyone and Happy Saturday! I'm so sorry I've been MIA this week. I was working on a huge brief at work all week and was coming home pretty exhausted in the evenings. I was finally able to get into the craft room last night. I am behind on commenting on all of your fabulous blogs, but I will get caught up this weekend.
For my card today, I decided to ink up another fabulous image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Dark Royalty and I think she's fabulous! I colored the image with copics (pinks; RV21, RV23, RV25; hair; E33, E35, E37; tail: BV72, BV75; skin: E00, E11, E13, RV21) and then lightly sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. I added some Stardust Stickles to her wings and to the flowers. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Taken with Teal and Regal Rose). The design paper is from Kaisercraft (I love this paper, I think it was meant to go with these images!) :) For some finishing touches, I added a bow (tied with my Bow Easy), pearls, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. Sorry to make this so short, but I've got weekend errands to run. I plan to get lots of crafting time in this weekend so I should have lots to share with you next week :) Have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Restless Thoughts
Hi everyone and Happy Monday! :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I saw Sex and the City 2 over the weekend with a friend of mine and I loved it! I'm not sure why it got bad reviews, I thought it was great. Hubby and I got to spend some time together which was great. He got me The Blind Side for my birthday and we finally had a chance to watch it this weekend. What a fantastic movie, I definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it already. I also got some time in the craft room as well. It was a really nice weekend :)
For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Restless Thoughts and I think she's gorgeous. I colored the image with copics (skirt and wings: R81, R83, R85; shirt: B000, B02; mushrooms: R39, R37, R35, E31, E33; hair: E33, E35, E37; skin: E00, E01, E11) and then inked around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. May I Have this Dance?
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! :) The weekend is almost here! Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? Hubby and I are going to work around the house a bit. I have to go into Northern Virginia tomorrow morning to get my hair done and then on Sunday and I'm got see Sex and the City 2 with a friend. Other than that, I plan to rest a bit and get some crafting in. Should be a nice weekend, even though we're supposed to get lots of thunder storms.
I created a very simple card today using one of my favorite images from the new Magnolia Fairytale Collection (Diana seems to be out of this one right now, but I'm sure she'll get more in soon). I colored the image with copics (dress and shoes: R81, R83, R85; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21; hair: E33, E35, E37; crown: Y21). I sponged around the image with SU's Pretty in Pink ink and then added lots of Stardust Stickles to her crown, goves, and shoes. I also added pearls to her crown. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (white and Rose Red). The design paper is also from SU. For some finishing touches I added pearls, a bow and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Hello
Hi everyone and Happy Thursday :) Boy this week is flying by, I can't believe the weekend is almost here again (not that I'm complaining) :) I'm hoping to get lots of crafting done this weekend, I need some more quality time in the craft room :)
For my card today, I just had to ink up this adorable image by Victoria Case available at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This particular image is called Little Carolyn and I think she's super sweet. I colored the image with copics (swing: E31, E55, E57; dress: V12, V15, B34; hair: E33, E35, E37; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21). I then cut the image out with my circle nestabilities. While the image was still in the nestability, I sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Perfect Plum and Not Quite Navy). The design paper is from MME and K&Co. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, dew drops, Stardut Stickles to her dress and her little doll, a bow, a heart charm, Primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

You're Just My Style
Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. We're halfway through the work week already, I just love three day weekends! :) I have a quick post for you today, I have a busy day at work and must get to it :)
For my card today, I decided to ink up this adorable image available exclusively at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This image was illustrated by the fabulous Elisabeth Bell. This image is called All Grown Up and I think she is absolutely adorable. She reminds me of myself when I was little, I was always putting on my mom's high heels and pearls. :) I colored the image with copics (pinks: R81, R83, R85; black: W6, W8; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21; hair: E33, E35, E37) and added some Stardust Stickles to her hair bows and to her purse. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Basic Black and Rose Red). The design paper is by Amanda Blu. I used my SU ticket corner punch on the corners and added pearls. I also added pearls to her necklace. The sentiment is from a Gina K set called Retro Boutique. For some finishing touches I added a ribbon, bow (tied with my Bow Easy), a purse charm, primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Exciting News!!!
Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a happy Memorial Day for those of you in the US. We had a wonderful time at my stepbrother's wedding, lots of great food, great company, and dancing. My kind of night! :)
Well, I have some really exciting news to share with you. Over the long weekend, Lynette, owner of Sweet Pea Stamps asked me to join her Design Team! I am SO excited! I love working with these images and it's truly an honor to be asked to join. In celebration of my exciting news, I have a Sweet Pea card to share with you today.
For my card today, I used this gorgeous image from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Spring Luna and I just love her. I colored the image with copics (pinks: RV21, RV23, RV25; skin: E00, E01, E11; hair: E33, E35, E37; blues: BV72, BV75) and then added some Stardust Stickles to all the stars and moons. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Regal Rose and Not Quite Navy). The design paper is from MME (Penny Lane Collection). I used my SU ticket corner punch on all the corners and added some pink pearls. I also added a small pink pearl to her head band. I made the hat pin myself with a hat pin and beads I found at JoAnn's. To finish the card off, I added a bow and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
