BFF

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday :) I have a super quick post for you today. For my card today, I had to ink up this adorable Elisabeth Bell image available exclusively at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. She is called You Have Mail and I think she's absolutely adorable. I colored her with copics (pink: RV21, RV23, RV25; hair: E33, E35, E37; lavender: V12, V15; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21), added some stickles to the moons on her pajamas and to her hair bow, and then cut her out with a rectangular nestability die. While the image was still in the nestie, I sponged around it with SU's Rose Red ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Perfect Plum and Regal Rose). The design paper is from K&Co. I added pearls to the corners, a ribbon and bow (tied with my Bow Easy), and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from an old Hanna Stamps set. This just reminded me of a teen girl messaging her best friend online while sipping diet coke and lounging in pj's. :) What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you back here soon.

SO cute. I never thought to leave the image in the nestie and do the sponging. I'll have to try this. She looks like my oldest granddaughter! Wonderful card.
