Just Ask Cinderella

Hi everyone and Happy Monday :) I hope your week is off to a great start. Well, I almost didn't post this card. I wanted SO badly to create a ribbon blossom like Pam Basset does (see her awesome creations Here). So, when Pam put a tutorial up last week on Splitcoast (see the tutorial Here), I had to try it out. Well, five and a half hours later this past weekend, this was the best I could do :) To me, it doesn't look at all like Pam's and I wish I had been able to do it better. I guess I'll just have to practice some more :) Anyway, my hubby talked me into posting the card anyway since I spent so much time on it :)

I used last week's Mojo Monday Sketch for my layout. All stamps used are from H & M Stamps. I stamped the princess, colored her with copics, and cut her out. I added glitter from my Sakura glitter pen to her crown and flowers. I then used my nestabilities to cut out the circle and scalloped circles and mounted them with dimensionals. I next stamped the shoe, colored it with copics, and cut it out with my nesties. I added Diamond Stickles to the shoe. All cardstock is SU and the ribbon blossom uses various ribbons from SU and Michaels. The sentiment on the inside is from a current SU Set called Humor in High Heels.

Well, what do you think? Any suggestions on how to improve the ribbon blossom? :)
