Fairy Tale

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday :) I'm so sorry for the late post. Blogger was having some issues earlier today and I wasn't able to post.

Well, as I'm sure you probably all know by know, I love creating "fairy tale" scenes on my cards so I had to do another one with this awesome castle from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. I stamped the castle three times onto PTI cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the main image, then popped certain portions twice and certain portions three times with dimensionals to give the castle a 3D effect. I also popped the dragon. I next stamped Mini Lark twice. I colored one image with copics, cut her out, and added stickles to her wings. I cut out just the wings on the second image, added stickles to the wings, then adhered them on top of the main image so that the wings looked more 3D. I then mounted the fairy to the image panel with dimensionals.

I next created my card base, which measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2, out of SU's Elegant Eggplant. I layered Night of Navy on top of that followed by my design paper from DCWV's Once Upon a Time stack. I then mounted my image onto my SU cardstock with dimensionals. The sentiment is from Veve's Fairytale sentiment set. Finally, I added Primas and a Making Memories blue glitter brad to finish the card off. What do you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by! :) I have some wonderful blog candy that I'll be posting tomorrow in celebration of 10,000 hits on my blog (thank you all so much!) so make sure to stop by for that. That's it from me today. I'll see you back here tomorrow :)

Big Hugs, Christine :)
