Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! Can you believe that Easter is Sunday and I'm just now sharing my first Easter card?!?! Several people on my card list are going to be getting "Happy Belated Easter" cards :) March just sped by for me, I can't believe tomorrow is April 1st. Not that I'm complaining, it's warm again here after a chilly spell at the end of last week. The birds are out chirping, the grass is green, the trees are budding . . . I love spring :) Anyway, onto my card for today.
For my card today, I used another gorgeous stamp from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection, available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Fantasy Easter Ocean and I think it's gorgeous. I colored my image with copics and then I sponged around the image with SU's Pretty in Pink ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Certainly Celery and Rose Red). The design paper is from The Paper Company (I got it at Michael's). I used my SU ticket corner punch on all the corners and added pearls. I added a ribbon and a bow (tied with my bow easy). For a finishing touch, I added Primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. I am submitting this card to the Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge Blog. This is a new blog created to host challenges using Sweet Pea Stamps. They are looking for a design team and I figured, as much as I love these images, I might as well give it a try :) Wish me luck :)
Well, that's it from me today. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you back here tomorrow with a Magnolia project.
Hugs, Christine :)

Fluttering Butterflies
Hi everyone :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day and a wonderful week. Blogger did not want to cooperate this morning but I was finally able to load my photos. For my card today, I decided to ink up another beautiful image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This image is from ching chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection and is titled Fluttering Butterflies. I think this is one of my absolute favorite images (although I tend to say that about every single image from this collection) :):):) I colored the image with copics (dress: B32, B34, B37, R83, R85, R89; hair: E35, E37, E39; skin: E00, E01, E11; wings: R81, R83, R85, R89; sun: Y21, R23). Next, I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Red Rose and Brocade Blue). All design paper is from Basic Grey (Lemonade collection). I used my SU ticket corner punch on the corners and added pearls. Finally, for a finishing touch, I added Primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
Thank you all so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow :)

Fly
Hello everyone and Happy Monday! :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It was chilly here, I sure wish those nice warm temperatures would come back soon :) Hubby and I got to see Alice in Wonderland on Saturday. It was SO good, I highly recommend it. I spent most of the day Sunday organizing and cleaning my craft room. I let too many things pile up and it just needed a good cleaning and reorganizing. I had planned to make several cards this weekend, but my mojo is still missing :( I was able to get one card done and I'll share that one with you today.
For my card today, I decided to ink up another gorgeous image from ching-chou kuik's fantasy art collection, available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Purple Woods. I inked the image with Memento black ink, stamped it onto PTI cardstock, and colored it with copics (Hair: E35, E37; Skin: E00, E01, E11; Dress: R85, R83; Trees: E55, E57; Cat: W6, W8). Next, I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Rose Red and Basic Black). The design paper is also from Stampin Up. I used my SU ticket corner punch on all corners and added pearls. I added a bow, which I tied with my awesome Bow Easy. For a finishing touch, I added Primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is also from Sweet Pea Stamps. What do you think?
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful day and a wonderful week. Here's hoping my mojo returns :) I'll see you back here tomorrow.

Spring Wishes
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! I'm so excited that the weekend is almost here. Do you have any big plans for the weekend? I think hubby and I are going to go see Alice in Wonderland this weekend (I've heard it's really good). Other than that, I think we'll do some chores around the house and hopefully be able to veg out some too :)
For my card today, I decided to use fun spring colors in hopes that spring will be here to stay soon. We have had really nice weather here lately, but today it's raining and it's only going to be in the low 40s. Brrrr! :) For my card, I decided to ink up one of the adorable Swiss Pixies from CC Designs. This particular image is called Swiss Pixies Heidi. I colored the image with copics (Hair: E35, E55; Skin: E00, E01, E11, R20; Shirt: Y21, Y23; Skirt and shoes: R81, R83, R85, R89). I added Diamond Stickles to her wings and then cut her out using my Labels 1 Nestabilities die. I then inked around the top of the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. I added grass to the bottom of the image with my copics. Next I created my card base using SU cardstock. The design paper is from K&Co's Wild Raspberry stack. For a finishing touch, I added some Primas to the top left corner. What do you think?

Lavender Beauty
Hi everyone and Happy Thursday :) Just gotta get through today and tomorrow and then the weekend is here, yay! :) I've got a crazy busy day at work today so I'll make my post short and sweet. I was able to get into the craft room last night and was able to create a card I didn't hate. Hopefully this is a sign that my mojo is returning :)
For my card today, I inked up one of my new images from the ching-chou kuik Fantasy Art Collection, available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Misty Reflections and I think she's just gorgeous. I inked the image with Memento black ink and stamped it onto PTI white cardstock. Next I colored the image with copics (Dress: V12, V14; Hair: E35, E37; Moon: Y21; Hat and Gloves: W6, W8; Cats: E13, E14, E17) and I added some lavender glitter from my Sakura glitter pen to her hat and gloves. I then cut out the image with my circle nestabilities and while the image was still in the nestabilities die, I inked around the image with Memento lavender ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Perfect Plum and Basic Black). My design paper is from Basic Grey's Wisteria collection. I used my Martha Stewart edge punch on the top panel of design paper. I used my SU ticket corner punch on all corners and added lavender pearls (from Michael's). For some finishing touches, I added Primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, a bow (the double looped bow was tied using my Bow Easy), and a hat pin which I made myself. What do you think?
Thank you all so much for stopping by. I hope you are having a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow :)

Tilda with Kitten
Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything since last Friday. I seem to have lost my creative mojo and I wasn't happy with anything I was making in the craft room. I still had a few pictures saved of some cards I made for a craft show I did this past winter so I thought I'd share one of those with you today and I hope and pray my mojo returns :)
For this card I used this adorable Magnolia image. I just love the cat's expression, it reminds me of my furbaby Charley. So cute! :) I colored the image with copics and then cut it out. I next created my card base using SU cardstock. My design paper is from My Mind's Eye (Bloom and Grow collection). I then layered two rectangles cut out with my nestabilities and then adhered Tilda with dimensionals. For a finishing touch, I added an orange ribbon and bow (I made the two looped bow with my awesome Bow Easy). What do you think?
Thank you all so much for stopping by. I'm hopeful that I'll have something new to share with you very soon (and if anyone has found my mojo, please return it) :)

New Sweet Pea card
Hi everyone and Happy Friday!! TGIF! :) I'm so glad the weekend is almost here. It's been a crazy week and I'm looking forward to relaxing a bit. Do any of you have any exciting weekend plans?
For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous Sweet Pea image from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection. This particular image is called Blue Eye Fairy. She was so much fun to color. I inked the image with Memento black ink, stamped it onto PTI white cardstock, and colored it with copics. For the hair, I used E53, E55, and E57. For her dress, I used R85 and R83. Her eyes are B32 and B34. I inked around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. Next, I created my card base out of SU cardstock. All design paper is by My Mind's Eye (love this paper company!) :) I added a ribbon and a bow (I was able to tie the double bow using my awesome Bow Easy. I used my SU ticket corner punch on the corners and added pink rhinestones. I also added a pink rhinestone to the center of her necklace. I added a heart charm (from Michael's) and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for a finishing touch. What do you think?
Thank you all so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful day and a wonderful weekend.

Dream
Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday :) We're halfway through the week. I can't wait to the weekend to get here (it seems like I'm always saying that LOL) :) Well, I have a super busy day at work today so I will make this post super short. When I saw the new release from ching-chou kuik's fantasy art collection at Sweet Pea Stamps, I had to have it. This is one of the images from the new set and I just love her. I decided to go for a lighter, more pastel-like feel to the card, so I covered her in light lavender with my copics. I added lots of glitter to the sun and to the mask around her face. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (perfect plum and pale plum). The design paper is from DCWV's Rustic stack. I added a ribbon, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts to top it off. The sentiment is also from Sweet Pea Stamps. What do you think?
Sorry to be so short today. Thanks so much for stopping by and for all of your encouragement. See you back here tomorrow :)

A Pirate's Life for Me
Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday :) I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have a quick post for you today, I have so much to get done and so little time :) For my card today, I just had to ink up my new stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps. This one is from the most recent ching-chou kuik release and is called Unregrettable Pirate Life. I love these images! :) I inked the image with Memento Black ink, stamped it onto PTI white cardstock, and colored the image in with copics. I added some Martha Stewart glitter to the mermaid tail. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Chocolate Chip and Real Red). The design paper is from a pack I picked up at Michael's probably over a year ago. It's made by Deja Views. I used my SU ticket corner punch on all corners and added red pearls. I used my Martha Stewart edge punch on the top piece of design paper, then added swirls from my Fiskar's swirl punch and some red roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for a finishing touch. What do you think?
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow.

I Believe in Fairytales
Hello everyone and Happy Monday! :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We watched lots of basketball (Go Mountaineers!!!) :) and were able to get lots of chores done around the house, which was great. I had a wonderful time at the crop with my sister on Friday night. Got lots of images colored :)
For my card today, I had to ink up this brand new Magnolia image called Princess Tilda (you can preorder her from Magnolialicious Here). I colored her with copics (Dress: R81, R83, R85, R89; Shoes: E55, E57; Hair: E33, E37; Skin: E00, E01, E11), then cut her out and added Stardust Stickles to her crown. Next, I stamped my castle image (from Hero Arts) three times, colored it with copics, and cut it out three times, giving the castle added dimension.
Here's a picture from the side showing the dimension:
Next, I created my card base using SU cardstock (Rose Red and Close to Cocoa). All of my design paper is from DCWV's Rustic Stack. I used my SU Ticket Corner punch on all corners and added light pink pearls. I added a ribbon and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts as well. The sentiment is from an old H&M stamp set. Finally, I adhered Tilda to the card using dimensionals.
Here's a close up of Tilda:
What do you think? Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate it so much, you all give me such encouragement. I hope your week is off to a wonderful start. Have a fabulous day and I'll see you back here tomorrow :)

Have a Magical Day
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! :) I thought the weekend would never get here :) Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? Tonight I'm going to my sister's to a crop night. I'll probably end up stamping though, even though my poor scrapbooks have been severely neglected recently. I think it's going to rain the rest of the weekend so hubby and I are just going to stay in, watch some movies, and of course, I'll do some crafting :)
For my card today, I had to ink up another image from the new release of ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Soft Goth Night. I colored the image with copics (V12, V14, RV93, RV95, E33, E37, W6, W8, G24, G28, Y21, Y23) and added a bunch of Martha Stewart glitter to her tail. I then inked around the image with Versamagic lavender ink. Next I created my card base from SU cardstock (Perfect Plum and Basic Black). My design paper is from Basic Grey's Wisteria collection, one of my favorites! I used my SU ticket corner punch on the corners and added lavender pearls (from Michael's). I added a bow, which I tied using my fabulous Bow Easy. For a finishing touch, I added Primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, along with some punch outs from my Martha Stewart branch punch for extra dimension. What do you think?
Thank you all so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I'll see you back here tomorrow.

Pretty in Pink Tilda and Sweet Pea Customer Challenge
Hi everyone and Happy Thursday! :) I hope you all are having a wonderful week and a wonderful day. I have two cards to share with you today so I'll keep my chit chat short and get to the good stuff :)
For my first card today, I inked up this adorable Tilda image from Magnolia stamps. I received this image from the Magnolia Sweden Winter Kit. It doesn't look like Diana over at Magnolialicious has this image in stock right now, but if you just send her an e-mail, I'm sure she'll get a new shipment in soon. I colored my image with copic markers (dress: R81, R83, R85; socks: R81, R83; shoes: E55, E57; hair: E33, E37; skin: E00, E01, E11; and B000 to outline the apron (a great technique I learned when you want something to be white, but also want a slight shadow to it). I then cut the image out and adhered it to my oval panels that I cut out using my oval nestabilities (the top oval was also run through the Cuttlebug using my Swiss Dots embossing folder). Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Regal Rose and White). All design paper is also from SU. I used my SU ticket corner punch on the corners and added pearls. I added a pink ribbon, which I tied using my awesome Bow Easy. For some finishing touches, I added Primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and I also added some punched out branch punches from my MS punch to add some extra dimension to the flowers. What do you think?
My second card today is my submission for the March Customer Card Challenge over at the Sweet Pea Stamps blog. Our challenge was to think spring. We had to have green, pink, and yellow in our card and we also had to have flowers somewhere on the card. I decided to ink up this beautiful stamp from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection. This particular image is called Masked Fairy in Green. I colored the image with copics (Pinks: R81, R83, R85, R89; Greens: G22, G24, G28; Yellow: Y21; Hair: E35, E39; Skin: E00, E01, E11; Tree trunk: E55, E57). I added two small pearls to the image, one to her head piece and one to her necklace. I also added some Martha Stewart glitter to her wings. I then sponged around the image with SU's Pretty in Pink ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Pretty in Pink and Sage Shadow). My design paper is by K&Co. I added a ribbon and bow, a hat pin (I found this one at Jo Ann's), roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, and pearls. The sentiment is also from Sweet Pea Stamps.
Here is a picture that shows the glitter on her wings a bit better (it was really hard for me to get the glitter to show up on camera):
And finally, here is a close up of the image:
Whew, that was a long post from me today :) Thanks for reading this far and thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow :)

Ever After
Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! We are halfway through the week, I can't wait for the weekend to get here. I have so many projects to get done in my craft room and I should have a bunch of time this weekend to check things off the "to do" list. :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day. I'll keep my chit chat short today and get right to my card.
For my card today, I inked up another fabulous image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This one is called Love is Gone from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection. I colored the image with copics (dress and wings: R81, R83, R85, R89; middle part of dress: W6, W8; skin: E00, E01, E11; hair: E35, E39) and added lots of Martha Stewart glitter to the middle section of her dress and to her wings. All cardstock is by SU (Basic Black, Pretty in Pink and Rose Red) and my design paper is from K & Co. For some finishing touches, I added swirls from my swirl punch, pearls, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
Thank you so much for stopping by. I will be back tomorrow with another card to share. Have a wonderful day! :)

A Very Merry Unbirthday!
Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! :) We are having beautiful weather today, it will get up to almost 60 degrees which will feel like the middle of summer with all the snow and cold we've had this year :) I had the best mail day ever yesterday. My big order arrived from Sweet Pea Stamps with my order from the last release. I just can't get enough of these gorgeous images and I decided to share one of my new stamps with you today.
For my card today, I decided to ink up this brand new Alice in Wonderland image by Elaine Cox. This particular image is called Mad Tea Party. Don't you just love it? These images by Elaine are wonderful! I inked my image with Memento ink and stamped it onto PTI white cardstock. I colored the image with copics and then added lots of Martha Stewart glitter to the Mad Hatter's hat and coat. I added lots of Glossy Accents to the tea pot and tea mug to give it a lot of shine. All cardstock is SU (Always Artichoke, Real Red, Brocade Blue) and my design paper is from MME (Penny Lane collection). The adorable sentiment is also from Sweet Pea Stamps, it's called Alice Sentiments and these are so cool. I love the different fonts and the clever sayings. For a finishing touch, I added Primas and dew drops. What do you think?
Here is a picture using the flash so you can really see the Glossy Accents and glitter:
And finally, here's a close up without the flash:
.
Thank you all so much for stopping by. Your kind comments mean so much to me, I really appreciate each and every one of you. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow (probably with another Sweet Pea image . . . I'm obsessed) LOL :)

Here is a picture using the flash so you can really see the Glossy Accents and glitter:
And finally, here's a close up without the flash:

Thank you all so much for stopping by. Your kind comments mean so much to me, I really appreciate each and every one of you. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow (probably with another Sweet Pea image . . . I'm obsessed) LOL :)

Butterfly
Hi everyone and Happy Monday :) I hope your week is off to a great start. We had a lovely weekend here, the temperature got up into the mid-50s yesterday and the sun was out. I'm hopeful this means spring is on its way, I'm so tired of winter! :) Well, I have a lot of pictures to share of my project today so I'll get right to it.
I decided to create another easel card with another gorgeous image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This image is from the fabulous Fantasy Art Collection by ching-chou kuik. This particular image is called Dance of Butterfly. I colored my image with copics, and then added Martha Stewart glitter to the tail and to the butterflies. I sponged around the image with Versamagic Aegean Blue ink. I next created my easel card using SU cardstock (Night of Navy and Pale Plum). My design paper is from DCWV's Far East stack. I used my SU ticket corner punch on the corners and added pearls. For a finishing touch, I added Primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and also butterfly punches from a MS punch. The beautiful sentiment is from Verve. I was actually really happy with how this turned out. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow.

Love You
Hi everyone! :) I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have a quick post for you today as I'm running a little late this morning :) For my card today, I decided to ink up this adorable stamp from Whiff of Joy called Charlotte Kissing Pigeon. I inked the image with Memento black ink and stamped it onto PTI cardstock. I colored the image with copics (Shirt: R83, R85, R89; Skirt: B32, B34; Skin: E00, E01, E11, R20; Hair: E35, E39). I added some Martha Stewart fine glitter to the heart on her shirt. I then inked around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink and added a pearl to her necklace and three pearls to the bottom left corner. Next, I created my card base from SU cardstock (Bashful Blue and Pretty in Pink). The design paper is from MME Love Nest stack. I used my SU Ticket Corner punch on the corners and added pearls. I found the sentiment from my stash and inked it up with Pretty in Pink ink. I used my SU Word Window punch to punch it out. I added a bow, which I tied with my wonderful Bow Easy, and then I added some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for a finishing touch. What do you think?
Thank you all so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow :)

Burst of Orange
Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :) I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far. For my card today, I went way out of my comfort zone! I usually work with pinks, lavenders, blues, soft greens . . . I rarely ever work with bright orange :) I found this design paper from My Mind's Eye at Michael's (it's the "Home" Collection) and decided to challenge myself a bit with some colors I don't usually use. To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about the end result. I think I probably should have left the space around the image white instead of coloring with another shade of orange. Oh well, I learn something new with each card I make so hopefully, I'll get better in the future :) For my card, I used another beautiful image from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This image is called September Rhythm and I think she's just gorgeous. I colored her with copics and added some Martha Stewart glitter to her tail (I love this stuff, but it gets everywhere!) :) My card base was made with SU cardstock and the DP is MME. For a finishing touch, I added orange roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think? I'd love any suggestions or comments you might have, as I said, this one was way out of my comfort zone :)
Thank you all so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow.

Love Songs
Hi everyone and Happy Monday :) I hope your week is off to a great start. I got to spend some time in the craft room this weekend which is always great fun. Hubby and I also watched the end of the Olympics and man oh man, did you see that hockey game yesterday?!?! What an amazing game. I was rooting for Team USA, but I'm so happy for Canada that they were able to win on home soil. What a fun game to watch. I'm so sad the Olympics are over. They are always so fun to watch.
Well, onto my card for today. I titled my post "Love Songs" because when I saw these two images from the Winter Kit from Magnolia, I pictured Tilda sitting on the piano singing love songs to Edwin. I know, I'm a hopeless romantic, what can I say! :) I first stamped the piano (this image doesn't appear to be available at Diana's store yet, but I'm sure she'll get a new shipment in soon) and colored it with copics (W8 and W6). It's hard to see in the pictures, but in the second picture, you can kind of see that I added Glossy Accents to the keys on the piano to give them some shine. I then cut the piano out with my Labels 4 Nesties. While the paper was still in the nestability die, I sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. When I popped the paper out of the die, it left a really nice white border around the image. I love this technique and will definitely be using it again. Next, I stamped Tilda (again, this image doesn't appear to be available at Diana's store at the moment, but I'm sure she'll get it back in stock soon), colored her with copics (dress: R85, R83, R81; bow: B34, B37; hair: E33, E35, E37; shoes: R89, R85), and cut her out. I added some small pink pearls for earrings and some Stardust Stickles to the rose pinned to her dress. I next created my card base using SU cardstock (Regal Rose and Bordering Blue). The design paper is from DCWV's Rustic stack. I used my ticket corner punch from SU on the corners and added pearls. I also used my Martha Stewart Lace Hearts edge punch for the top panel of design paper. I added the piano image to the card base with dimensionals and then added Tilda to the top of the piano with dimensionals. Finally, I added a bow, tied with my Bow Easy, and roses from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
That's it from me today. Thank you all so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day and a wonderful week. I'll see you back here tomorrow :)
