Hi everyone and Happy Saturday! Do you all have fun exciting plans for Halloween? We have lots of family birthdays in October so we're all gathering together tomorrow to celebrate. I'm looking forward to it, I've been so busy, I haven't seen my dad and sister and her family in a while. Speaking of birthdays, today is my wonderful husband's birthday and I wanted to share the card I made for him. My wonderful husband is truly the love of my life, I'm so blessed to have him. I wanted to make a special card for him (happy birthday honey! :) ).
I wanted to create a little "lovey dovey" scene with various elements from my cricut. I first cut this adorable tree from my Sweethearts cartridge at 4 3/4". I just love this tree and there are so many projects I can use it for. After I put the tree together, I did some doodling with my white gel pen. Next I cut out the couple (me and hubby :) ). This was also cut from the Sweethearts cartridge at 3". This image took a little while to put together because the pieces were pretty small, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. Next I cut out the fence from the paperdolls cartridge. I cut it "fit to length" at 5 1/2 ". I next cut the grass, also from the Paperdolls cartridge, at "fit to length" at 6". Finally, I cut out the two sweet little birds in the tree from my Create a Critter cartridge at 1". After I had all my pieces cut out and put together, I created my card base. All cardstock is from SU. My DP is from DCWV. I first added the fence with pop dots, then adhered the grass to the fence. Next I adhered the tree and then the couple with dimensionals. Finally, I adhered the birds, also with dimensionals. I also added a small pearl to the flower in the girl bird's hair. For a finishing touch, I added roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
I was so excited to give this card to hubby this morning for his birthday. He really loved it and that makes all the work so worth it! :) What do you think? Well, as always, thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful and safe Halloween weekend. Make sure to stop by on Monday, I'll be debuting a new Sweet Pea image and I'll also have some amazing Sweet Pea blog candy. See you then! :)

Yee Haw!!!
Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. We got just a tiny bit into my trial yesterday but had to continue it for various legal reasons which was frustrating. At least things will calm down a bit here for the next few days. Unfortunately, I still have to do the trial at a later date :) I did manage to get into the craft room last night and I have a couple of "cowgirl" cards to show you today.
For my first card I just had to ink up this adorable Cowgirl Tilda Magnolia stamp from Magnolialicious. I think this is one of my absolute favorite Magnolia images, she is so cute! :) I colored the image with copics and then sponged around the image with SU Pretty in Pink ink using my Tim Holtz blending tool. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from Debbie Mumm (I got it in single sheets at Michael's). For some finishing touches, I added a ribbon, bow, rose from Wild Orchid Crafts, and dew drops. What do you think?
My second card today is a quick card I put together using my Cricut. I used my Paper Doll Dres Up cricut cartridge to cut the doll out at 3 1/2". I used Everday Character Faces stamp set from Peachy Keen Stamps to create her face. I also did some doodling using my white gel pen. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. The DP is also from Debbie Mumm. For some finishing touches, I added dew drops, a ribbon and bow, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
Well, I hoped you enjoyed my cowgirl cards today :) Have a wonderful day and as always, thanks so much for stopping by.

Halloween Witches
Hi everyone and Happy Monday! :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that your week is off to a great start. If I can just get through Wednesday of this week, I will be happy. I was out of town almost all week last week for training for work. I have a huge court proceeding tomorrow and Wednesday which I worked on over the weekend. Once that is over, things should calm down a bit here :) I did manage to get a little bit of time in the craft room this weekend and I have a couple of cards to share with you today.
For my first card, I decided to ink up this adorable image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is illustrated by Elaine Cox and you can find it HERE. Isn't she cute? I colored the image with copics and then added Glossy Accents to the liquid in the cauldron and the bubbles (this is hard to see in the photos). Once the Glossy Accents was dry, I added some Stardust Stickles to the bubbles as well. I also added stickles to the fire. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from MME and Cosmo Cricket. I also added an orange ribbon and a double looped bow (tied with my bow easy). For some finishing touches, I added a Prima flower, and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
My second card today is a quick card I put together using my Cricut. I first cut the witch out and 3 3/4" using my Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge. I put the witch together and then did some doodling with my white gel pen. Next I created my card base using SU cardstock. My DP is from Recollections (I got it at Michael's). I also added ribbon and a bow and a witch charm which is from Making Memories (I also got this at Michael's). What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. I hope you all have a wonderful day and a wonderful week. Thanks so much for stopping by. See you back here soon.

I'm Finally Home!
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! I don't have a project for you today, I've been gone all week out of town for training for work. I got home late last night. It was an exhausting trip, but I'm so glad to be home. I have to head to work today but I hope to get some time in the craft room this weekend. I'm behind on visiting your beautiful blogs so I'll catch up on that this weekend as well! Have a wonderful Friday and a wonderful weekend!!

Happy Birthday
Hi everyone and Happy Monday. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that your week is off to a great start. I've got another crazy busy week this week. If I can get through this week and half of next week, things will calm down a bit :)
I did get some time in the craft room this weekend, just not as much as I would have liked :) I decided to work with my Cricut a bit more and this card is what I came up with. I cut the cute little bird from the Create A Critter cartridge at 3 1/2 inches. All cardstock is from SU. I doodled around the bird with my white gel pen and then I put a little Prima in her hair as well as a mini pearl to go in the center. So cute! :) Next I created my card base. My DP is from DCWV. For some finishing touches, I added ribbon and a bow, a heart charm (from JoAnn's in the jewelry section), roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, and dew drops. The sentiment is from an old Studio G set. What do you think?

Sweet Tilda
Hello everyone and Happy Friday! I am SO glad the weekend is almost here. Do any of you have exciting plans? I haven't even thought about the weekend yet, this week has been so crazy. I'm sure we'll do something fun though :) Well, I've got to get going so I'll make this post short and sweet :)
For my card today, I decided to ink up this adorable Magnolia image. I colored her with copics and then cut her out. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from MME. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. I figured this card could be given for so many different occasions, so I didn't put a sentiment on it. What do you think?
Sorry to be so short today, but I've got to get to work. Have a wonderful day and thanks so much as always for stopping by!

Happy Halloween
Hi everyone and Happy Thursday! I hope you are all having a wonderful day. I'm not feeling so hot again, I've got body aches like crazy. I got my flu shot yesterday so I don't know if that caused it or what. I'm going to press through though, I've got too much to do at work to slow down :)
For my card today, I decided to use this adorable kitty cat Halloween image illustrated by the fabulous Elaine Cox for Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Little Witch Cat and I think she's so adorable! :) I colored the image with copics and then added the gold glitter to the stars using my gold spica glitter pen. Next I lightly sponged around the image with orange ink using my Tim Holtz blender tool. My cardstock is all from SU and my DP is from Cosmo Cricket. For some finishing touches, I added a bow, a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts, and rhinestones. What do you think?

A Cricut Howdy
Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have to go get my flu shot this morning and then I have a super busy day at work so I'll make this post a short one.
For my card today, I decided to do something a little different. I have a Cricut machine and I LOVE it, but I use it mostly for scrapbooking. I decided to make a Cricut card today after being inspired by some blog surfing over the weekend. I actually used three Cricut cartridges on my card today. All papers are from SU. My grass was cut from the Paperdolls cartridge. I used the "Fit to Length" button and made my grass 5 1/4 inches. Next, I created the cowgirl using the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. I cut her at 3 1/4 inches. I used a Peachy Keen face stamp for her face and then I pop dotted her cowgirl hat. Finally, I created the horse from my Create a Critter cartridge. I cut him at 3 1/2 inches. I used my white gel pen for the dots and then for a finishing touch, I added some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from MFT. This card is a standard A2 sized card. What do you think?

Be Still My Beating Heart
Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! :) I hope my friends in the States had a great three day weekend and enjoyed Columbus Day yesterday. I kind of took a break from everything this weekend and just spent some good quality time with hubby and the fur babies. It was very nice, but now I'm very behind :) I will catch up on my commenting on your beautiful blogs today. My posting will be a bit spotty this week because I have a lot going on at work, but I'll post when I can.
For my card today, I just had to ink up this new beautiful image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called A Bunch of Love and I think she's absolutely gorgeous. I colored the image with copics and then sponged around the image with my blending tool with SU's Pretty in Pink ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is also from Stampin Up. For an extra touch, I added pearls, a bow (tied with my Bow Easy) and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used my Martha Stewart heart border punch for the top piece of DP. The sentiment is from Studio G. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. This is a short week but a crazy busy one so I must get to work. Thanks so much as always for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Little Pumpkin
Hi everyone and Happy Thursday! Friday is almost here, yay! :) Thanks so much for all your well wishes, you are all so sweet. I am feeling better today, still a little run down but I think I'm on the mend :)
For my card today, I decided to ink up this adorable Magnolia Halloween image from Magnolialicious (link on my sidebar). I think Tilda is so precious with her little pumpkin, ready to go trick-or-treating :) I colored the image with copics, cut it out, and then added Stardust Stickles to the pumpkin. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from MME. I cut the oval out using my oval nestabilities and then I ran the oval through my Cuttlebug again with my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then adhered the oval to the card with dimensionals and then adhered Tilda with dimensionals. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow, a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts, and a spooky fence, which I cut out using a Martha Stewart border punch. What do you think?

A Winter Wonderland Pop-Up
Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! Hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have a super quick post for you today with a few pictures so I'll get right to it. I decided to make another pop-up card, this one for winter. Here's what the inside of my card looks like:
Here are a couple close-ups:
Here is a picture of the front of my card, which I kept very simple:
The skater image is illustrated by Victoria Case and is available at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. My cardstock is all by SU and my DP is from MME. The snowflakes are from Me and My Big Ideas (I got them at Michael's). The trees are actually from MME DP, I just cut them out. I also cut the snow banks out by hand from DCWV white glitter paper. For a finishing touch, I added some rhinestones. What to you think?
Well, I'm not feeling very well today so I'm headed back under the covers. I hate having to take a sick day at work, especially when I have so much to do, but I need to get some rest and feel better. I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Thanks so much as always for stopping by!

Happy World Cardmaking Day!
Hi everyone and Happy Saturday and Happy World Cardmaking Day! :) I hope you all get lots of time in the craft room today :) Any exciting plans for the weekend? Today I'm going to go see the movie Wall Street with a friend (hubby has opted to stay home and watch football :) ). Tomorrow I plan to do some chores and craft :)
For my card today, I decided to ink up this absolutely gorgeous image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Lilly Dream and I think she is absolutely gorgeous. I had so much fun coloring her up. I colored her with copics and then sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink using my blending tool. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from The American Paper Co. (I got it at Michael's). For some finishing touches, I added a bow (tied with my Bow Easy tool), pearls, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Just a Little Dusting
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! I'm so glad the weekend is almost here, this has been a killer week! Any exciting plans for the weekend? I don't know what we're doing yet, but you can bet it includes lots of time in the craft room for me :)
For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous fairy image from Wags N Whiskers. I think she's absolutely gorgeous! I colored the image with copics and then added Stardust Stickles to her wings and to her shirt and shoes. Next I sponged around the image with SU Pretty in Pink ink with my Tim Holtz blending tool (this is what I use on almost every card to get the ink around the image . . . so much cheaper than an air brush machine!). I next created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from MME. For some finishing touches, I added a bow (tied with my Bow Easy tool), pearls, dew drops, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from an old HM Stamps set. What do you think?
