Blog Hop for Suzanne - You are Fabulous!

Hi everyone!!  It's almost Christmas and though we all have family and friends we enjoy spending time with at this time of the year, we also have family and friends that we don't see or visit with often enough but still mean just as much to us!  Us gals on the Design Team of Color Me Creative Challenge Site wanted to take a moment to say send a big HUG and a special thanks to our fearless leader, Suzanne Dean.

Suzanne HAS to be the easiest and sweetest person to work with and, as many of you know from reading her blog, about the funniest too (though sometimes we ALL think she'd be better off leaving the house in bubble wrap! LOL)  *Kidding!!*

As you may have figured out, Suzanne adores the time she spends with her family and quite often shares her travels and outings with us.  So, as a little way to encourage her to continue doing what she loves best AND to keep sharing it with us... the DT would like to invite you to share in our little blog hop sharing our creations for Suzanne that remind us of family, sharing, recording memories and love.  Suzanne is a perfect example of how to share as much time as you can with those you love and to create memories that will last a lifetime for generations to come.

So here's to you, Suzanne... we love you, your crazy ways and think you are just like family to us as well.

My card today for Suzanne is a bit tongue in cheek (not the "you are fabulous" part because Suzanne, you are fabulous!), but what the girl is doing . . . yep, she's talking on the phone :)  I have learned through the years of reading Suzanne's blog that she and I have quite a bit in common.  One kind of funny, slightly odd thing we have in common is that Suzanne and I both HATE talking on the phone.  I absolutely despise it.  Sometimes, I even break out in a sweat before making a phone call.  I'm an attorney and I have no problems at all speaking to a judge or in front of a jury or asking a defendant questions during cross examination on the witness stand, but I HATE talking on the phone :)  Anyway, Suzanne, I know you hate it too and I thought this image might make you laugh :)

This super sweet image is from Whiff of Joy.  I of course colored her with my copic markers.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG09
Puppy: C3, C5, C7, C9
Bag: E41, E42, E43, E44, E49

My cardstock is from SU.  My DP is from Doodlebug.  I added a ribbon and some bling (both from Michael's), pearls, and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The dies were made using a Memory Box die.  The sentiment comes with the image.

Now head on over to Julie Price's Blog to continue the hop and enjoy the awesome project she is sharing with Suzanne.  If you missed the beginning of the hop, you can head on over to TIna's Blog to start from the beginning.  I'll also have a complete Blog Hop list for you at the bottom of this post.

Thanks for stopping by and we hope you have a VERY Merry Christmas and that you make all the memories and treasured times you can with your family and friends!

We love you, Suzanne and thank you for another fabulous year with the CMC DT "family"!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!!

Hi Everyone and Happy Tuesday!  I hope you are all having a wonderful week.  I have some super exciting news to share with you.  I have been asked to join the Crafty Sentiments Designs design team for a six month term!  I'm SO excited!  I have been in love with these adorable images for a long time now and I'm so honored to join the team :)  We have a new challenge up this week over at the Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week is birthdays.  Here's my DT card:

For my card today, I just had to ink up this adorable image.  She's called Schoolbook and I just LOVE her.  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
Backpack: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47
Shoes: C3, C5, C7, C9

I created my card base out of SU cardstock.  My DP is from MME.  I know this isn't a typical birthday card so to speak, but I'm a huge booklover and many of my friends are too so we often buy each other books for birthdays so that was my inspiration for this card :)  I added a banner which was made using a La La Lands Die.  I also added a ribbon and a bow from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Have a fabulous day and make sure to head over to the Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge Blog and join in this week's challenge :)

Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks - Manic Monday

Welcome back to day FOUR of our DECEMBER Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are sharing two amazing images from the super talented Annie Rodriguez!  These images are so awesome.  I love every single illustrator that designs for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  They are all so talented and their images are dreams to work with.  But, I'd be lying if I said that Annie's images didn't have a special place in my heart :)  Some of very first stamps I ever bought were Annie's designs for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  I bought them before I could even pronounce "copic" correctly :)  So, it is truly an honor to guest design for KKS this month and to get to showcase this amazing Annie image :)  Without further delay, here's my card:

Isn't she awesome?!?! :) She's from the brand new Hey Hot Stuff Stamp Set.  She looks just like me on a Monday morning (except I have longer hair) :)  I of course colored the image with copics. Here are the copics I used:
