You're Snow Amazing

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  Oh my, what another crazy week!  For those of you who might not follow me on Facebook, my two year old and I were in a really bad car accident on November 22nd.  We were stopped at a red light and rear ended by a driver who clearly wasn't paying attention and couldn't see several cars stopped at a red light in front of him.  Anyway, I've been fighting with insurance companies ever since and it's just wearing on me a bit.  Last night I got a new car and I really do love it, but sure wish this hadn't happened.  I'm so blessed though to be able to report that my son and I are just fine health wise, which is of course the most important thing.

Anyway, on to happier news, it's Wednesday, so that means it's another Wonderful Wednesday Challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog.  Remember, these are "anything goes" challenges, so, easy peasy.  Come on over and join in the fun! :)  Here's my card:

For my card today, I just had to ink up this gorgeous new fairy stamp.  She's called Snowball Fairy and I just love her!  She was so fun to color.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Purple: V000, V01, V04, V06, V09
Blue: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG09

I added some frontage and some stickles for some extra glitter.  The sentiment, as well as several other sentiments, also comes with this set.  My DP is from Doodlebug.  I also added some snowflake die cuts (made from a Memory Box die), a ribbon, and some bling.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day! :)

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday! :)  I cannot even put into words how happy I am that the weekend is here!  What a crazy, long week!  Well, it's Saturday so that means it's another Saturday Challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week is hosted by the lovely Krafty Girl Jenny.  The challenge is "Tag, You're It!"  I'm so excited and honored to be guest designing for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps this month and I love this challenge.  I rarely create tags and I really should do more of them.  Here's my project:

For my tag, I used the brand new Ice Fairy Stamp Set.  Isn't this image gorgeous?!?!  I fell in love with her the moment I saw her.  She was a dream to color too.  I of course colored her with my copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Pinks: RV10, R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: BG01, BG05, BG09

I also added lots of glitter.  I think this picture shows the glitter a bit better:

If you've been to my blog before, you know I love embellishments - die cuts, ribbon, flowers, etc.  But for this project, I decided to keep in simple.  The tag is actually from Michael's (it's a Tim Holtz tag and came in a package of 20 for like $2.  I have a Cricut and a Silhouette and you can easily create a tag from one of those machines, but for this project, I decided to use a premade tag to save time.  I sponged around the tag with SU Chocolate Chip ink for a distressed look.  I then added Glossy Accents and glitter to the bottom for the snow.  I popped my image with dimensionals, stamped the sentiment (which comes in this stamp set, along with several other sentiments to choose from), and then added some snowflake stickers I also found at Michael's.  Last but not least, I added some twine at the top.  What do you think?  Here's a further out view:

Well, that's it from me today.  Please make sure to head over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog to check out the rests of the DT and Guest DT creations and then join in the challenge.  Have a wonderful weekend! :)

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I'm so excited to be back to crafting :)

Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks - Manic Monday

Welcome back to day FOUR of our DECEMBER Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are sharing two amazing images from the super talented Annie Rodriguez!  These images are so awesome.  I love every single illustrator that designs for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  They are all so talented and their images are dreams to work with.  But, I'd be lying if I said that Annie's images didn't have a special place in my heart :)  Some of very first stamps I ever bought were Annie's designs for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  I bought them before I could even pronounce "copic" correctly :)  So, it is truly an honor to guest design for KKS this month and to get to showcase this amazing Annie image :)  Without further delay, here's my card:

Isn't she awesome?!?! :) She's from the brand new Hey Hot Stuff Stamp Set.  She looks just like me on a Monday morning (except I have longer hair) :)  I of course colored the image with copics. Here are the copics I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85, R89
Jacket: C3, C5, C7, C9
Newspaper: W2, W4, W6
Tea (I'm a tea drinker, I majorly dislike coffee :) ): E41, E42, E43, E44

I created my card out of SU cardstock. The DP is from Echo Park (last year's Valentine's stack).  The die cuts were made using a die from Memory Box. The adorable sentiment comes with this image. I also added a pink bow, some bling, some pearls, and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks - A Mother's Love

Welcome back to day THREE of our DECEMBER Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are sharing a LOVELY new set by artist Thais Narciso! It is called.......A MOTHER'S LOVE! This set is SO adorable! We have a little one of our own (I can't believe he's already 16 months old, where does the time go?!?!). I definitely had him in mind while creating my card for this release. In fact, even though it's cheesy, I made this card for him. I'll put it in my Project Life binder for him and maybe when he's older, he can look back on it and smile :) Here's my card:

Isn't this image adorable?!?! :) This image is from the brand new A Mother's Love Stamp Set. I of course colored the image with copics. Here are the copics I used:

Mommy elephant: W1, W2, W4, W6, W8
Baby elephant: W1, W2, W4, W6

I created my card out of SU cardstock. The DP is from Hobby Lobby (their store brand, I can't remember what it's called). The banner was made using a die from La La Land Crafts. The adorable sentiment comes with this set. I also added a chocolate colored ribbon to finish it off.  If you've been by my blog before, you know I love pink and I love girly cards.  This was a fun departure for me and I'm really happy with how it turned out :)
