I colored the middle Peony with Light Pink and Pink Zigs, the peony on the right with Light Pink and Pink, and the Peony on the left with Peach Pink and Orange. Today I've created a fun card using the brand new stamp set from Craftin' Desert Divas called Mermaid Lagoon. This is one of my most favorite stamp sets of all time I think :) I just love it! I created a video tutorial sharing how I colored my mermaid with copic markers and I also share how I created the fun watercolor background on my card. Here's my video:
And here are some pictures:
I used the following copic colors on my mermaid: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20, E23, E25, E29, Y35, Y38, E18, YR04, YR07, YR09, RV10, R81, R83, R85, R89. I used my Gansai Tambi watercolor paints to create the fun background. The sentiment also comes from a brand new stamp set from Craftin' Desert Divas called Summer Vibin', which is also a super cute set. To finish the card off, I added some sequins from Studio Katia and some Baker's Twine from my stash. What do you think?
To continue on the hop, please head over to Teresa's Blog. Don't forget to leave comments along the way for your chance to win a $75 gift certificate to Craftin' Desert Divas! Thanks so much as always for stopping by!
Hi everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful week! I have a fun video to share with you today showing how I created this fun scene with Lawn Fawn stamps, some dies, and Distress inks. This is a card you can give someone and it has that WOW factor, but is truly very simple to create. Here's my video:
And here are some pictures:
I used Salty Ocean, Broken China, Peacock Feathers, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain distress inks to create the scene. I colored all of my characters and accessories with my Zig Markers and I used the following colors: Flesh Color, Blush, Yellow, Brown, Light Brown, Dark Brown, Black, Wine Red, Germanium Red, Red, Light Blue. I added some Glossy Accents and lots of Wink of Stella glitter pen. I hope you enjoyed this video and this card. I hope you will give some scene building a try, it's really easy to do and has a fun result when finished.

Hi everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start! Today, I have a video tutorial and two cards to share. I wanted to share how I created this fun background on my card using Distress Oxide inks. I'm also showcasing a brand new stamp set from Craftin' Desert Divas called Sunny Vibin. It is so cute! Here's my video:
And here are some pictures:
For this card, I used Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick, and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxie inks to create the background. I used Zig Markers to color the flamingo. I used the following Zig Markers for my coloring: Flamingo Pink, Orange, Yellow, Peach Pink. I covered the image with glitter with my Wink of Stella Pen. I cut out the rectangles using the Fancy Frames dies from Craftin' Desert Divas. To finish it off, I added some sequins and twine from my stash.
Here's a second card I created with this stamp set:
For this card, I used Faded Jeans, Broken China, and Cracked Pistashio Distress Oxide Inks to create the colors of the waves and then used the new wave die to cut them out. I colored the image with my Zigs (Violet, Light Violet, Light Blue, Light Pink, Yellow).
