One and Only Heart

Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are having a great day. I didn't get a chance to post before heading to work this morning so I figured I'd go ahead and post now and then go fix some dinner :)

For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called One and Only Heart. It is illustrated by the fabulous ching chou kuik and you can find it HERE. Isn't she gorgeous? I colored the image with copics and then lightly inked around the image with SU's Pretty in Pink ink using my Tim Holtz blending tool. I also added some Stardust
Stickles to the heart and the rose in her hair. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from Basic Gray. For some finishing touches, I added a bow, pearls, dew drops, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much as always for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Be Still My Beating Heart

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! :) I hope my friends in the States had a great three day weekend and enjoyed Columbus Day yesterday. I kind of took a break from everything this weekend and just spent some good quality time with hubby and the fur babies. It was very nice, but now I'm very behind :) I will catch up on my commenting on your beautiful blogs today. My posting will be a bit spotty this week because I have a lot going on at work, but I'll post when I can.

For my card today, I just had to ink up this new beautiful image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called A Bunch of Love and I think she's absolutely gorgeous. I colored the image with copics and then sponged around the image with my blending tool with SU's Pretty in Pink ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is also from Stampin Up. For an extra touch, I added pearls, a bow (tied with my Bow Easy) and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used my Martha Stewart heart border punch for the top piece of DP. The sentiment is from Studio G. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. This is a short week but a crazy busy one so I must get to work. Thanks so much as always for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

...and they lived happily ever after.
