Kennedy Grace Creations - Water Coloring a Gorgeous Sunflower Image with Zig Markers and a Water Brush

Hi everyone!  I'm here today to share a card created using some gorgeous products from Kennedy Grace Creations.  Here's my card:

To create this card, I first stamped the beautiful sunflower image from the Beautiful Bloom - Sunflower Stamp Set with some Versamark Ink onto some Canson XL Watercolor Paper.  I then embossed the image with some white embossing powder.  Next, I painted the image with my Zig Markers and a water brush.  I used the following colors:
Center of Sunflower: Dark Brown and Brown
Petals: Brown, Yellow
Leaves and Stem: Green, Light Green

Next, I cut the water colored panel out with a stitched rectangle die and then adhered it to some design paper, then adhered the entire panel onto a standard A2 sized card base.  I stamped the sentiment, also from the stamp set, onto the panel.  I then adhered some beautiful sequins from the Lemon Sorbet Sequin Mix onto the panel.  This was a really easy card to put together, but I think it turned out lovely.  These gorgeous floral images from Kennedy Grace Creations make card making super easy :)

I really hope you liked my card for today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Hugs, Christine

To create this card, I stamped the beautiful floral image from the Friendship Blessings Stamp Set from Kennedy Grace onto some Canson XL watercolor paper.  I then colored it with my Zig Markers (for the petals, I used Brown, Orange, and Yellow, for the greenery, I used Olive Green, and for the shadow around the image, I used Light Blue, and for the dirt at the bottom, I used Brown).   I then added some Lemon Sorbet Sequins from Kennedy Grace around the image panel.  I then adhered the panel to some design paper and then adhered the entire panel to a Golden Yellow card base.  I then added the sentiment, from the same stamp set, onto t hat same cardstock.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  I hope you enjoyed today's card and video.  Big hugs!

And here are some pictures of my card:

For my card, I used the gorgeous new release set called Friendship Blessings.  This image was a dream to watercolor.  I painted it using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush.  For the petals, I used Pale Rose and Deep Red.  I used Yellow for the centers of the flowers and Olive Green for the greenery.  Finally, I used Light Blue for the shadow around the image.  I also painted my own design paper using my Gansai Tambi watercolor paints.  I added some vellum and stamped my sentiment onto it and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  I added some black Nuvo drops and also some Pink Champagne Sequins from Kennedy Grace.

We will be giving away a prize package to one lucky winner.

All you have to do is join us for the hop and leave a comment on each project.  The more you comment, the more chances you have to win.  The winner will be announced on Monday.

We hope you have enjoyed this release and will hop along to see what our talented designers have made using the Stamps and Sequins from our September release.  Your next stop is the lovely and talented Cindy.

In case you miss some along the way,  have included the entire hop for you?
