Hi everyone and Happy Saturday! :) It's been a crazy, hectic week but I'm so glad the weekend is here :) I'm looking forward to relaxing, crafting, and spending fun time with my wonderful little family :) I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Today's post is a very special post. The DT for 7 Kids College Fund is having a blog hop today. Let's get to it :)
Welcome to the 7 KIDS Preview of Christmas hop! You are going to find some really great projects using some really beautiful stamps and products from the store! For those of you who haven't started your Christmas cards, this is a great opportunity for some 7 KIDS inspiration. The store is stocked with lots of images and papers. Don’t forget we have many products that will help you with your Christmas gifts.
Today we have our new DT members with us and some very special guest designers who have joined us for our Christmas Hop. Here's my project:
For my card today, I just had to ink up this adorable Magnolia image. She's called Tilda with Peanut and she was so fun to color. I inked her up with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamped her onto Copic XPress Blending Card. I of course colored my image with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
Mouse: W2, W4, W6
Shoes: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47
I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from last year's 6x6 paper pack from Recollections (Michael's brand). I added a bow and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts (I always use Scor Tape to adhere my bows and flowers, it works perfectly every time). The snowflakes are from Michael's (they are just puffy foam stickers, you can get a huge pack for $2). The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.
Now, let's get to hopping!!! By hopping with us today:
One random hopper will win a
$25 GIFT CERTIFICATE to the store!!!
And we will also be selecting three guest designers!
Here's how you can win:
1) Make your way through all the blogs on the hop and comment on EACH DT member's blog.
2) Return to the store blog HERE and comment there to let new hoppers know how great the projects were!
3) Come back to the store blog on Wednesday 11/13 when we'll announce the random winner.
Remember to support the DT! If you like a project, make sure you click through that DT member's links which will help them earn credit toward purchasing more goodies to make more projects to show you!!!
Let's HOP!!!
