Good morning,
I loved the sketch challenge so much over on Splitcoast that I decided to do another card. For my card today, I stamped the main image from My Favorite Things (MFT) Meet Me At The Cafe set twice, once onto Georgia Pacific cardstock and once onto designer paper from Die Cuts With a View's Nana's Nursery Stack (baby girl). I colored the image stamped on the GP cardstock with my copic markers and then paper pieced the designer paper image around the colored image. I used SU's ticket corner punch on the corners. I then created my card base (5 1/2 x 5 1/2) out of SU's Chocolate Chip cardstock and then layered SU's Cameo Coral on top. Next I layered two patterns of designer paper from DCWV Nana's Nursery, cut in triangles. I then used my nestabilities to cut out a scalloped circle out of SU's Close to Cocoa and SU's Cameo Coral. I then adhered the scalloped circles to the card base using dimensionals. I then layered the stamped image onto the scalloped circles using dimensionals. Next, I stamped the awning onto designer paper and adhered it to the stamped image using dimensionals. I then stamped the sentiment in SU's chocolate chip ink on the bottom right corner. For a finishing touch, I added primas to the bottom left corner and placed a pearl (from Martha Stewart) in the center.
I would love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a lovely day.
Christine :)
