For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous castle scene from Magnolia Stamps as well as Lady Tilda. I preordered mine from Magnolialicious and I was so excited when they came last week. I first colored the castle with copics (grays: W2, W4, W6, W8; greens: G21, G24, G28). I added stickles to the roses in the rose bush and to the moon and stars. Next I colored Lady Tilda with copics (dress: R81, R83, R85, R89; hair: E33, E37, E39; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21), cut her out, and added Stardust Stickles to her flower and head band. I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Regal Rose and Not Quite Navy). The design paper is also from SU. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, and a double looped bow tied with my Bow Easy (the best $5 I ever spent) :) What do you think?

Coral Immersion
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! :) I'm so glad the weekend is almost here, this has been one crazy week. I wasn't able to get into the craft room at all this week until last night. Work has been crazy, but I survived :)
For my card today, I just had to ink up another gorgeous new Sweet Pea image from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection. This particular image is called Coral Immersion and I think she's gorgeous. I colored the image with copics (hair: E33, E35, E37; coral: YR85, YR87; pink: RV21, RV23, RV25; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21) and then I added some Stardust Stickles to the coral to give it some sparkle. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Pumpkin Pie and Regal Rose). The design paper is all from MME. I used my SU ticket corner punch on all the corners and added pink pearls. I created a double looped bow with my Bow Easy and I also added some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Sweet Pea Stamps and I inked it with SU's Rose Red ink. What do you think?

Two More Cricut Cards
Hi everyone and Happy Monday! :) I hope your week is off to a great start. This is a very busy week for me at work so I might get a bit behind in leaving comments on your beautiful projects, but I will catch up. For my cards today I decided to play with my Cricut again.
For my first card, I used the incredibly cute Create a Critter cartridge to cut out the poodle and the sentiment. I added some stickles to the poodle's hair bows. Isn't she a cutie? :) Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Rose Red and Regal Rose). The design paper is from SU. For a finishing touch, I added a bow (tied with my bow easy) and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

I paper pieced them together after making all the cuts on the Cricut. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Rose Red and Chocolate Chip). The design paper is retired from SU. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. For some finishing touches, I added pearls and primas and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Something a little differet . . . cricut cards
Hi everyone and Happy Sunday and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. I hope you are all having a wonderful day! :) Today, I have something a little different to share with you. I've had a Cricut for a few years now and I use it for scrapbooking, but I've never used it for card making before. Well, since I have become obsessed with card making, I haven't had much time for scrapbooking and my poor Cricut has been neglected. Yesterday, I decided to pull it out and make some cards. I actually had a blast with it and hope to share more Cricut cards with you in the future.
For my first card, I decided to use this adorable poodle, which I cut out using the Once Upon a Princess cricut cartridge. I cut the image out at 3 1/4, paper pieced it together, and then added some Stardust Stickles to her hair bow and collar. Next, I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Basic Black and Regal Rose). The design paper is from Making Memories. The ribbon is Stampin Up (Pretty in Pink) and the sentiment is from an old Hanna Stamps set. This card took me maybe 20 minutes to put together. Just a quick and fun card if you need one in a hurry.
For my second card, I decided to cut out this adorable kitten (also from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge). I can't remember how big I cut him out, but I paper pieced him together and then created my card base out of SU cardstock. The design paper is from MME and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. The photo corners are from a SU punch and I added some pink rhinestones for some bling. This card took even less time to put together than the first one :) What a great way to put together some quick cards for someone special.
I hope you enjoyed my Cricut cards today. My passion will always be stamping on my cards, but I enjoyed using the Cricut and hope to do so more frequently. Happy Birthday to Me . . . A Blog Makeover and a New Card
Hi everyone and Happy Thursday evening :) I am so excited to share my new blog with you. I decided a while back that I needed a blog makeover. My friend Suzanne (Scrap Bitz) recommended Veronica from VK Design Company. I loved how Veronica designed Suzanne's blog so I put my name on her waiting list and waited for my turn. Boy was it worth the wait. Veronica was a dream to work with and I'm so happy with the final result. What do you think?
In other news, today I turned 29. I told hubby this is the age I will remain for a while LOL! :) That way, next year, I'll be 29, the year after that, I'll be 29, etc. :) I'm just kidding, I hear your 30s are the best so I suppose there's no sense in hiding from them :) Hubby made my day today so special that I wanted to whip up a quick card this evening to say thank you.
For my card today, I decided to ink up this adorable image from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This particular image is called Aurora With Bird and I think she's adorable! I colored the image with copics (dress, hat, and shoes: R81, R83, R85; orange: YR65, YR67; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21; hair: E33, E35, E37; bird: B32, B34, B37). Next I inked around the image with SU Bashful Blue ink. I then created my card base out of SU carstock (Pumpkin Pie and Regal Rose). I decided to go with a pretty simple layout so I added my design paper (from MME) and some pearls and dew drops. What do you think? In celebration of my birthday, I am giving away some fun surprises. Another New Sweet Pea
Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day and a wonderful week. I have a super quick post for you today as I have to get to work early, there are a ton of things I have to get done today. For my card today, I decided to ink up another gorgeous new image from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Flowing in Blue. I colored the image with copics (dress: V12, V15, V17; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21; hair: E33, E35, E37; blues: B32, B34, B37). Next, I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Not Quite Navy and Perfect Plum). The design paper is from K&Co. I tend to keep my layouts very simple and often revert to this standard layout when I'm working with these images. I hope I'm not boring you all :) I just like keeping these beautiful images as the focal point of the card. For some finishing touches, I added lavender pearls, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

A new Sweet Pea and Hot Pink Tilda
Hi everyone and Happy Monday! :) I'm so sorry it's been so long since my last post, work has been absolutely crazy and I haven't been feeling to well on top of that. Anyway, this is a new week so hopefully things will slow down a bit :) I actually have two cards to share with you today so I'll keep my chit chat short.
For my first card today, I decided to use this gorgeous new image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Purple Comfort. I think she's beautiful and I love the kittens :) I colored the image with copics (dress: R81, R83, R85, BG72, BG75; skin: E00, E01, E11, RV21; hair: E33, E35, E37; cats: W2, W4, W6). I added Stardust Stickles to her hair bows and the cats' wings. Next, I created my card base out of SU cardstock (the blue color is an old retired color, I can't remember the name, the pink is Rose Red). The design paper is from K&Co. The two corner designs on the upper corners of the card were actually cut with my Cricut from the Storybook cartridge. I'm determined to use my Cricut more, I love it! Finally, for some finishing touches, I added some pearls and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
For my second card today, I made a birthday card for my grandmother in-law (the absolute sweetest person). I love this Tilda image, I think she's absolutely adorable. I stamped the image with Memento black ink onto PTI cardstock and colored it with copics (top: W6, W8; skirt and socks: RV21, RV23, RV25; hair: E33, E35, E37; skin: E00, E01, E11,RV21), cut her out, and then added some stickles to her hair bows and her belt and her lollipop. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Regal Rose and Basic Black). The pink design paper is from SU, the black design paper is from DCWV. I then cut out some ovals using my nestabilities and I embossed the top oval with my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then added Tilda to the ovals with dimensionals. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow (tied with my awesome bow easy) and Primas and roses. What do you think?
