Fairy Happy Birthday

Hi everyone and Happy Friday!  It's been a crazy busy week here, but I'm so glad the weekend is almost here :)  I found a little bit of time over the last couple of nights to put a project together so I'll get right to it.

How gorgeous is this image?!?!  She's called Comfy Slippers Fairy and she was a dream to color up, especially that hair!  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Pinks: RV10, R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG09
Shadow: W2, W4, W6

My cardstock is of course from SU and my DP is from MME.  The swirls were made from a Memory Box die.  I added a bow and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I also added a bit of bling to the bow and some pearls.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  I'm a bit behind in my projects, but I hope to be back really soon.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Huge hugs!

We've Got Chemistry

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!  I hope your week is off to a great start.  I didn't get as much time in the craft room as I had hoped this weekend, but I did manage to get one card put together.

For my card today, I just had to ink up this adorable image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  She's called Lab Geek and I just LOVE her!  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Lab Coat: W1, W2, W4, W6, Blender
Bow tie: R35, R37, R39, R59
Clipboard and desk: E42, E43, E44, E47
Blues: B91, B93, B95, B97
Orange: YR04, YR07, YR09
Greens: G21, G94, G99

My cardstock is from SU and my DP is from MME.  I added a die cut from a Memory Box die and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for some finishing touches.  The sentiment comes from the stamp set.  I also added lots of Glossy Accents to her lab goggles and the bottles on the table.  I tried my best to capture that effect with the camera, here's the best I could do to photograph it:

The Glossy Accents really is a cool effect, I wish it showed up better on the picture.  I'm also entering this card into the KKS Wonderful Wednesday Challenge.  Anyway, what do you think?  Well, that's it from me today.  It's a crazy week at work for me, but I'll try to be back here on Wednesday with a new project.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Huge hugs!

Dude . . . read books!

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  I hope you are all having a fabulous week.  I have a new card to share with you today so I'll get right to it:

First of all, how adorable is this image?!?!  She's called Pixie Nerd from Saturated Canary and I just love her and I love the saying that comes with it.  I of course colored her with copics.  here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Pinks: R81, R83, R85, R89
Bag: E42, E43, E44, E47

Wings: G21, G94, G99 (also Diamond Stickles)

I decided to do some distressing in my card design so I could enter her into the Kit and Clowder Shabby Chic Challenge.  I just used the edge of my scissors and went around each piece of paper, then did some inking with my SU Chocolate Chip ink and a Tim Holtz distressing sponge.  My cardstock is from SU and my DP is a combination of papers from MME and DCWV.  The die cuts were made from a My Favorite Things die.  I added some pearls and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Here's a close up shot:

What do you think?  Well, that's it from me today.  Thank you so much as always for stopping by.  Have a fabulous day! :)  Hugs!

Dream

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! :)  I hope you are all having a fabulous week.  The new challenge is up over at Crafty Sentiments Designs and I have my DT card to share with you today so I'll get right to it.

Our challenge this week is Clean and Simple.  As you can probably see . . . I don't do clean and simple well :)  I tried to hard to go clean and simple on the design paper that I kinda forgot that by adding the die cuts and ribbon and flowers, that I was defeating the purpose of clean and simple :)  Oh well, I really did try :)

For my card, I just had to ink up this gorgeous image called Princess Mask.  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Pinks: B81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99

My cardstock is of course SU.  My DP is from MME.  I added a ribbon and some bling and the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.  The die cuts were made from a die from My Favorite Things.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Make sure you stop by the Crafty Sentiments Designs blog to check out the rest of the DT creations and play along in the challenge.  See you back here tomorrow with another project :)
