New Sweet Pea Stamps Release - Atlantis Bower Mermaid

Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a wonderful Halloween :) We had a great time visiting with my family yesterday to celebrate all the October birthdays. I even got some time in the craft room last night and I got to work with a brand new Sweet Pea image illustrated by Elaine Cox. Here she is:

Isn't she absolutely gorgeous?!?! I just love this image. She is called Atlantis Bower Mermaid and you can find her HERE. I colored the image with copics and then I used my SU ticket corner punch on the corners. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, ribbon, bow (tied with my bow easy), Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

I hope you enjoy this new image. Make sure to check out Sweet Pea Stamps, Lynette has added some new, amazing illustrators. Their work is absolutely incredible, go check it out! :) Make sure to stop back by my blog this evening, I will have some Sweet Pea blog candy to give away, you won't want to miss this!

Well, that's it from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Make a Wish

Hi everyone and Happy Monday :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I have a quick post for you this morning before I head out to work. For my card today, I just had to ink up this gorgeous image illustrated by Elaine Cox and available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Little Black Unicorn and I think this is one of my absolute favorite images. I colored the image with copics and then shaded around the top of the image with SU's Rose Red ink. I added Stardust Stickles to the unicorn's horn and to the fairy's wings. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Always Artichoke and Rose Red). My DP is from MME. For some finishing touches, I added a bow (tied with my Bow Easy), pearls, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, sorry to be so short today but I have to run to work. I hope you all have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by!

...and they lived happily ever after.
