Dream

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! My back is feeling much better, thanks so much for all the well wishes. I was finally able to get back into the craft room last night and I have a quick card to share with you today. For my card today, I decided to ink up this beautiful new image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is from ching chou-kuik's Fantasy Art Collection and is called Spring Witch. I love this image, it's one of my favorites (but I do say that about all of them :) ). I colored the image with copics (e-mail me if you want the list) and then lightly inked around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. I added lots of Stardust Stickles to the flowers. Next, I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Not Quite Navy and Perfect Plum). The design paper is from K&Co. For some finishing touches, I added a double looped bow (tied with my Bow Easy), Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

Restless Thoughts

Hi everyone and Happy Monday! :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I saw Sex and the City 2 over the weekend with a friend of mine and I loved it! I'm not sure why it got bad reviews, I thought it was great. Hubby and I got to spend some time together which was great. He got me The Blind Side for my birthday and we finally had a chance to watch it this weekend. What a fantastic movie, I definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it already. I also got some time in the craft room as well. It was a really nice weekend :)

For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Restless Thoughts and I think she's gorgeous. I colored the image with copics (skirt and wings: R81, R83, R85; shirt: B000, B02; mushrooms: R39, R37, R35, E31, E33; hair: E33, E35, E37; skin: E00, E01, E11) and then inked around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Rose Red and Not Quite Navy). The design paper is from Kaisercraft (Gypsy Sister) and I think it's absolutely gorgeous (I got mine HERE). For some finishing touches, I added bows (all tied with my Bow Easy), blue pearls, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful Monday and I'll see you back here tomorrow :)

...and they lived happily ever after.
