Exciting News!!!

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a happy Memorial Day for those of you in the US. We had a wonderful time at my stepbrother's wedding, lots of great food, great company, and dancing. My kind of night! :)

Well, I have some really exciting news to share with you. Over the long weekend, Lynette, owner of Sweet Pea Stamps asked me to join her Design Team! I am SO excited! I love working with these images and it's truly an honor to be asked to join. In celebration of my exciting news, I have a Sweet Pea card to share with you today.




For my card today, I used this gorgeous image from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Spring Luna and I just love her. I colored the image with copics (pinks: RV21, RV23, RV25; skin: E00, E01, E11; hair: E33, E35, E37; blues: BV72, BV75) and then added some Stardust Stickles to all the stars and moons. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Regal Rose and Not Quite Navy). The design paper is from MME (Penny Lane Collection). I used my SU ticket corner punch on all the corners and added some pink pearls. I also added a small pink pearl to her head band. I made the hat pin myself with a hat pin and beads I found at JoAnn's. To finish the card off, I added a bow and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?
