Let it Snow

Hello everyone and happy Saturday :) Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. I think winter is finally here (it's brrrrr freezing here today) so I decided to make a wintry card in honor of the cold weather. I stamped skating Tilda from Magnolia Stamps with Memento black ink onto PTI white cardstock and colored her in with copics. I added some glitter from my Sakura glitter pen to her wings. Next, I created my card base, which measures 4 1/4 by 5 1/2, out of SU's Brocade Blue. I layered So Saffron on top of that followed by Always Artichoke, followed by my design paper from Basic Grey's Wassail Christmas collection. I used my new oval nesties to cut out the oval and scalloped ovals. I ran the white oval (which is white PTI cardstock) through the cuttlebug using the snowflake embossing folder. I then adhered Tilda with dimensioanls and layered the ovals to each other and to the card base with dimensionals (I love the extra pop dimensionals give) :). The ribbon is from Michael's in the Christmas ribbon aisle. Finally, the sentiment is a $1 Studio G clear stamp.

It's a pretty simple card, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow with another project.

Hugs, Christine :)

...and they lived happily ever after.
