Good Luck

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday :)  I hope you are all having a fabulous week.  Can you believe it, I got into the craft room again last night! :)  I'm still not feeling well but I'm better than I was so I can't complain too much :)  I've got two cards to share with you today so I'll get right to it.

How adorable is this newly released image from Inky Impressions.   She's called Shamrocks Lili and I just love her.  I used this card for the new challenge over at Through the Craftroom Door Magazine (our challenge is anything goes).  I of course colored her wtih copics, here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Pinks: R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: B91, B03, B95, B97, B99
Greens: G21, G94, G99
Sky/Clouds: B000, C1, C3, B60

My cardstock is from SU and my DP is from Echo Park.  I added a bow and some bling and the sentiment is from an old clear set.  What do you think?

My second card today is my DT card for Inky Impressions.  The new challegne is up over at the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week was to create a card using only black and white.  Here's my card:

I decided to keep this card simple and elegant so I just printed off this adorable Angelic Friend Sentiment and then created my card.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.

Sending You My Heart

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  Hope you are all having a fabulous week.  Today begins a new challenge over at the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week is to create a monochrome project.  This was very difficult for me and I cheated a little bit, but did the best I could :)  Here's my DT card:

For my card today I just had to ink up this adorable image.  She's called Sent with Love Girl.  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Pinks: R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
Box: E42, E43, E44, E47

I added lots of glitter to the heart (a tip: to add glitter with a fun shine/shimmer, place Glossy Accents where you want the glitter, then sprinkle your glitter over the Glossy Accents, tap off excess, and let dry; it really gives it an extra shine).  I created my card base out of SU cardstock.  My DP is from Michael's (Recollections brand).  The die cuts were made using a Memory Box die.  I added a ribbon, some bling to the center of the ribbon, and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Make sure to check out the  Inky Impressions Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and to play along in this week's challenge.  Hugs!

Hey Girlfriend

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  Well, we sure got a lot of snow yesterday, probably about 10 inches, maybe more.  I am so ready for winter to end, I need some warm weather and I need it soon :)  Anyway, enough complaining :)  The new challenge is up over at the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week is to use ribbon on our projects . . . easy peasy for me, I can't seem to make a card without a ribbon (thanks to my Bow Easy!) :)  Here's my DT card:

For my card today, I just had to color up this adorable image.  She's called Nickie Running Late for School and I think she's super cute.  I colored her with my copic markers.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99

My cardstock is from SU and my DP is from MME.  I added my bow and some bling to the center of the bow.  The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The die cuts were made using a Memory Box Die.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Please head on over to the  Inky Impressions Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and join in the challenge.  Have a fabulous day :)

Wishing it was Summer

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday :)  Brrrrr, it is still bitterly cold here in West Virginia.  Yesterday I think it got to 10 degrees outside but felt much colder with the windchill.  It's really cold again today so I'm just thankful for warm sweaters and heat!  It's Wednesday so that means the new challenge is up over at the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog.  The challenge this week was to use something new on your creations.  Here's my card:

For my card today, I just had to ink up this adorable image.  She's called Water Lili and I think she's adorable. I  of course colored her with my copic markers.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: R81, R83, R85, R89
Hat: E42, E43, E44, E47
Water: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG09

The new items I used were new ribbon and new DP (the DP is actually from last year's Echo Park summer line, but I just got it so the DP was new to me :) ).  I kept the card simple and left a sentiment off on purpose.  I figure this card can be used for a summer greeting, a "miss you" card, a "thank you" card or just a hello card.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Make sure to stop by the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog to see the other fabulous creations by the DT and play along in this week's challenge.  Have a fabulous day and stay warm!
