Happy Friday everyone :) I'm so glad the weekend is finally here. I hope to get a lot of stamping done! :)
My card today is my submission for three different challenges, all in one :) First, I again used this week's Sketch Challenge over on Splitcoast. I really enjoy using this sketch. This card is also my submission for this week's challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar. Our challenge this week was to create a card for a child. Finally, this card is also my second submission to this week's challenge over at High Hopes. Our challenge this week was to use sparkle on our cards.
For my card, I first stamped Max the Magnificent (from High Hopes) onto Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored him in with copics. I added Stickles to his hat, coat, and bow tie, as well as to the stars on the stand. I also added Glossy Accents to his top hat to make it shiny. I then stamped Sammy the Seal (also from High Hopes) onto a separate sheet of GP cardstock, colored him in with copics, and cut him out. I added Stickles to his collar. I inked around the image panel with SU's Brilliant Blue ink.
Next, I created my card base, which measures 5x7, out of SU's Brilliant Blue. I layered Real Red on top of that followed by design paper from DCWV's summer stack. I then layered my image panel onto Brilliant Blue followed by Real Red and then adhered that to the card base using dimensionals. I used SU's corner punch for the red and blue accents in the corners of the image panel. I also adhered the seal to the image with dimensionals.
Next, I cut out my squares and adhered them to the card base using dimensionals. I stamped the popcorn bag (also from High Hopes) onto GP cardstock three times, colored them with copics, and cut them out. I adhered them to the squares using dimensionals.
Finally, for a finishing touch, I added Primas and a red rhinestone to the card.
