Christmas Tilda

Happy Wednesday everyone! :) I was so excited to ink up my new Christmas Tilda for my card today. I used this week's Sketch Challenge over on Splitcoast for my layout.

First, I stamped the branch (from Magnolia stamps) with Memento black ink onto Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored it in with copics. I added Diamond Stickles to the ornaments. I then sponged around the image using SU's Always Artichoke ink. Next, I stamped Tilda on a separate sheet of GP cardstock, colored her with copics, cut her out, and added Gold Stickles to her wings.

Next, I created my card base (which measures 5 1/2 by 4 1/4) out of SU's Always Artichoke cardstock. I layered Bravo Burgandy on top of that followed by my design paper from the new Christmas stack from K & Co. I then layered my image onto Always Artichoke followed by Bravo Burgandy and then adhered the panel onto the card base using dimensioanls. I then cut out my squares and layered them onto the card with dimensionals for added pop. I adhered Tilda to the image panel with dimensioanls as well (you know I love my dimensionals! :):):)). For a finishing touch, I added Primas and a pearl.

I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by. More tomorrow :)

Hugs, Christine :)

  6. Oh this is beautifully done. I just love the whole card. But you know it almost looks like the card is laying down on the table and Tilda is sitting up on it!!! For real I mean! I have never seen the branch with the hearts - that is darling.
