Simply Sweet

Good morning everyone,

It's another rainy day here in West Virginia. Hope the weather is better where you are. :)

For my card today, I decided to ink up my new Here's the Scoop Set from MFT (My Favorite Things). I ended up stamping the main image four times. I stamped it on the designer paper (from DCWV Nana's Nursery (baby boy)), then three other times onto Georgia Pacific cardstock. I paper pieced the designer paper around one image. I then colored the chair and lady of another image with copics and popped them out using dimensionals. I then colored just the lady from the last image with copics, cut her out, and popped her with dimensionals. I mounted the main image onto SU's Chocolate Chip with dimensionals. I then mounted that onto SU's Lavender Lace. I then created my card base, which measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2, out of SU's Lavender Lace followed by Chocolate Chip, followed by DP from DCWV Nana's Nursery (baby boy ). I added a Making Memories ribbon, then adhered my image using dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment using SU's Chocolate Chip ink. I stamped the ice cream cones, cut them out, and adhered them using dimensionals. Finally, I added primas to the upper right hand corner.

I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by. More tomorrow.

Christine :)
