serving you a delicious array of crafty delights to celebrate not only the magical release of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ but also Make It Crafty's THIRD Birthday!!
What better way to celebrate than a tea party full of Make it Crafty fans?
As you chase the white rabbit down holes, through small doors, around corners and more…keep your eye out for hidden letters, collecting them along the way. Simply decipher the ‘question’ and then enter the answer at the end of the hop for a chance to win the grand prize!
It wouldn’t be a fun tea party without hidden prizes along the way, so make sure you comment as you chase the rabbit for a chance to win more prizes!
Hopefully you’ve found your way through the door from Rebecca's Blog, but if you’ve just fallen down the hole then you might want to start back at Zoe's Blog.
The guests were given the option to play with 6 images from the new collection and I chose to get creative with Sweet Alice and Alice and White Rabbit.
My first card uses the adorable image, Sweet Alice. I colored the image in nontraditional Alice in Wonderland colors because I wanted to show the versatility of the image. You could absolutely use this card in an Alice and Wonderland themed project, but you don't have to.
Isn't this an adorable image? I colored her with my copic markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85
Blues: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
Shadow around image: W2, W4, Blender
My DP is from My Mind's Eye. The flourish is from a Memory Box Die (it's called the La Rue die, I got mine at Ellen Hutson). I also added a bow and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The metal tag embellishment is from Michael's from Studio G (dollar section). Here are a couple more pictures:
For my second card, I chose to work with the image titled Alice and the White Rabbit and for this one, I did stick to traditional Alice in Wonderland colors.
I again colored the image with copics. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: Y21, YR23, E33, E35
Blues: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
Apron: E42, E43, E44
Rabbit: W1 for a light shadow (I wanted to keep him white)
Shadow around image: W2, W4, W6, Blender
My DP is from DCWV (Once Upon a Time mat stack). I added a bow and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The jewel in the center of the bow came from Michael's (I've had it in my stash). The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. Here are a couple more pictures:
Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much as always for stopping by. Don't forget to hop along and leave comments for a chance to win. The fun doesn’t stop here and if you head through this door you’ll find your way to Kathleen's Blog…
