Love Is In the Air!

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday!  It's Saturday so that means it's another Saturday Challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week is Peace and Love.  With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I took the chance to make another Valentine's Day card.  Here's my card:

I just had to ink up this adorable image from the Together is Better Stamp Set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Pinks: RV10, R81, R83, R85, R89
Browns: E42, E43, E44, E47

I added some Diamond Stickles to the balloon.  Other than that, I kept the card pretty simple and just added a bow and some pearls. I am known to go crazy using flowers and die cuts so I decided to keep this one simple.  The sentiment is from the set.  My DP is from MME.  What do you think?

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Celebration!

Hi everyone!  I'm sorry I've been quiet this week.  My little one got very sick two weeks ago with RSV and a double ear infection and it took forever for him to beat that bug (he still isn't 100%!).  I then came down with a head cold/sinus infection so it's been a rough couple of weeks.  Anyway, it's Saturday and that means it's the weekend so life is good :)  This is a super fun weekend because we are having a huge celebration over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  We are celebrating over 2000 peeps in our new Kraftin Friends Facebook Group AND it's Ms. Kraftin' Kimmie's birthday! :)  So what better time to celebrate?

Today we're kicking things off with an all day Krafty Krop!! Every two hours the Krafty Girls will be posting a challenge for you to try! Each challenge includes a sketch plus an extra element! If you use the sketch AND the extra element and submit your creation, that's TWO chances to WIN! There will be Krafty Ka$h vouchers up for grabs AND you have all week to play along! It's going to be so much FUN! I hope you can get krafty with us! Here's the sketch I created:

For my card, I just had to ink up Artemis.  Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and I thought she's make the perfect image for a Valentine's Day card.  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E01, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E53, E25, E29
Pinks: RV10, R81, R83, R85, R89
Sky: BG000, C0, C1, C4, B60
Grass: G21, G94, G99
Blacks: C3, C5, C7, C9

My DP is from The Paper Studio (I believe this is Hobby Lobby's house brand).  The swirls on either side of the image were cut using the Tilda Swirl die from Memory Box dies.  I love this die and I use it often.  I added some pearls and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment comes in the set.  What do you think?

Polished to Perfection

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  How is everyone doing?  Unfortunately, my little two year old is still sick :(  He came home Friday with a bad cough and it's just gotten worse from there.  I thought he was on the mend yesterday, but he's worse again today so we're off to the doctor's. 

Anyway, it's Wednesday so that means it's another Wonderful Wednesday Challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog.  This week's challenge is hosted by yours truly and as always, it's an "Anything Goes" challenge so head on over to the Blog, check out the other DT creations, and join in the fun :)  Here's my card:

For my card today, I just had to ink up this image from the brand new release.  This image is from the You Are Beautiful Stamp Set.  I just cannot stop creating cards with these images, I LOVE them! :)  I of course colored her with copics.  Here are the colors I used:

For my card today, I just had to ink up another image from the gorgeous You are Beautiful stamp set.  I of course colored her with copics.  My DP is from Authentique.  The border die is from a Spellbinders die and the swirls are from a Memory Box die.  I added a ribbon and some bling as well as some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The perfect sentiment came with the set.  What do you think?

Isn't this sentiment gorgeous?  I just love the fonts.  I stamped the image onto a die cut from a Spellbinder die.  I then distressed everything and inked everything with my SU Chocolate Chip ink and my Tim Holtz blender.  I wanted a shabby chic look.  I added some fringe to the bottom (this was from the dollar spot at Michael's).  I kept this card pretty simple too, I just wanted the sentiment to be the focal point.  What do you think?
