Super Exciting News!!!

Ghouls Just Want to Have Fun

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! :) Hubby and I spent the last week in wonderful, beautiful Charleston, SC. We had a wonderful, wonderful time. We stayed on the Isle of Palms just 15 minutes outside of downtown Charleston. We saw dolphins almost every day (I've never seen them so close to the shore before). If you are ever in Charleston in September or October, I definitely recommend doing a tour or two put on by the Preservation Society of the historic homes and gardens. SO much fun! It was just beautiful and we were both sad to leave :) I'm hopeful that some day, we won't have to leave, we hope to move there someday :) Onto my card for today.





My card today features an adorable image from My Scrap Chick (the new Ghost Kids set). I cut the image out using my Silhouette. I put everything together and then did some doodling with my white gel pen. I added a face using my Peachy Keen Everyday Faces character assortment stamp set. I also added some "blush" using my chalk. I next created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from Recollections. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a ribbon, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The cute sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. What do you think?

The Witch Is In

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday! :) Thank goodness the weekend is almost here! :) I have another Halloween card to share with you today.





For my card today, I decided to use this adorable witch bear from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs (Halloween Bears set). I cut the image out using my Silhouette. I put all the pieces together and then did some doodling with my white gel pen. I created my card base out of SU cardstock. I then added pearls, a ribbon, a bow, a small bow to her dress (from Trendy Twine), and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. The cute sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. What do you think?

Happy Halloween

Isn't this little bear too cute? :) The pattern is from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs (Halloween Bears Set). The face is from Peachy Keen Stamps (Tear Bear faces set). I cut the image out using my Silhouette and then did some doodling with my white gel pen. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from Recollections. I added pearls, swirls from an EK Success punch, a bow, and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. What do you think?

What a Sweetie

Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a great start. I have a super fun card to share with you today.




Kristi over at My Scrap Chick made an offer to readers of the My Scrap Chick fan club page to participate in a challenge. She would provide a free cut pattern from the Kawaii Sweet Shop pattern set and we get to make a fun card using it. I received this adorable Cotton Candy cut and I just love it. I cut the image out using my Silhouette, put everything together, and then did some doodling with my white gel pen. I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV. For some finishing touches I added pearls, swirls punched from an EK Success punch, ribbon, a bow, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. What do you think?

Paper, Scissors, & Punches . . . Oh My

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have a super fun card to share with you today. This is my first post as a new DT member for Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and I'm so excited! :)






For my card today, I decided to use this adorable crafty angel bear (available HERE). I cut the image out using my Silhouette. I ran the cloud through my Cuttlebug using the swirls embossing folder and then I ran her dress through my Cuttlebug using my swiss dots embossing folder. I then put everything together and then added the face using my Peachy Keen face stamps (the nose is from the Tear Bears face parts and the eyes are from the Princess Face Assortment (the pattern comes with cut out eyes and nose, I just sometimes like to change it up and add these sweet Peachy Keen faces) :) I then did some doodling with my white gel pen and then added some Stickles to her wings and to the swirls on the cloud. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. I adhered the image to my card base using dimensionals. I added pearls, a bow, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts for some finishing touches. The adorable sentiment is from My Creative Time. What do you think?

Exciting News!!!

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've posted. I have been swamped lately with work and also trying to get ready for vacation soon. I wanted to pop in and share some very exciting news with you. I have been asked to join the Design Team for Little Scraps of Heaven Designs (LSHD)!!! I am SO excited! If you are unfamiliar with this company, they have amazing designs you can cut out using your cutting machine and a third party software.
